How to Get There
Jackie at check in was great, she upgraded us to a small suite. This had a separate living area that was huge, as was the bedroom. The beds were very comfortable. There was a French press in the room with great instructions & everything you need to make wonderful coffee. If you didn’t want to make some in your room they had some downstairs near the reception with to go cups, they also gave you free water bottles in your room. They had a free wine reception in the lounge area downstairs that was a beautiful room. Everyone we came across was very friendly. We had a great stay and would stay there again.
Excellent value for the location, quality of service, and comfort of the room. Thank you so much. The food was great, and I really appreciated the housekeeping service. They really paid attention to detail.
We have the comfiest queen size bed, the air conditioning was perfect, the modern bathroom was a treat, and we loved wandering around the hotel feeling the history of the building. It was the perfect mix of a place with both character and modern comforts. I wish they included cheese and crackers/snacks for kids with the 5pm wine, like kimpton.
Despite the hotel being up some VERY steep hills, the property is clean and attractive (recently renovated--2015) as a historic site and the staff are wonderful. Also allegedly haunted but we had 0
If you want a unique, historic property, complete with creature comforts, make a reservation! Outdoor space for drinks, a great addition and use of space out front. Internet was a off more than it was on, so, inquire on the strength when booking room.
