A great hotel in a very convenient location. Many excellent amenities and old world charm. Our second stay and each one gets better! We enjoyed the atmospheric lobby and spent some time in front of the fireplace. The room was clean, comfortable and very convenient. Staff is superb.

Outstanding charming boutique hotel in the heart of Seattle. Its a mainstay experience from days of yesteryear. Highly recommend... if not over and over, than at the very least a must for a bucket list choice for a stay in Seattle!

Old World Warmth and Hospitality

The Sorrento Hotel provides a warm and welcoming experience, starting with their excellent bell/valet staff. Walking distance to the Washington State Convention Center and a short trek to Seattle University it was perfectly situated. I loved getting a drink in the bar and brining it out to the fireside room to lounge on a comfortable couch and read a book or chat with friends.

From the valet's greeting, to the excellent In Room dining (food was uniformly excellent, Room Service staff could use a bit more order/menu training), to the front desk staff, all personnel went out of their way to make sure my visit was comfortable and enjoyable. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Could use larger refrigeration capacity for longer visits, and, although the period pedestal sink was as charming and functional as the rest of the fully restored bathroom, a bit more toiletry storage in the sink area would be helpful. Long business days were made very tolerable with the respite, attention to needs provided by staff. And the comfort and charm of the room were much appreciated.

The stay was marvelous. The location was exactly what we needed to get to the Cathedral and other events without going up and down First Hill. It is close to Whole Foods and good restaurants giving you a broad choice for meals.
