Great resort!
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

The resort is very nice, the staff were very friendly and the rooms were very nicely set up. There is a whirlpool tub in the master bedroom, a full kitchen with a wet bar and a kitchen table with benches and booth seating for at least 8 people.
There is a Smiths grocery store and a Walmart both close by to get groceries and a shopping center with lots of shops like Coldstone Creamery, TJ Maxx, etc.
In nearby Heber you can take a train ride, you can go to Olympic Park where the Olympics took place and go to the museum to see the history of winter sports, etc.
You can get a pass for the day for about $80.00 for unlimited ziplining, rope climbing, tubing, etc.
It is a great place to go winter or summer!
Dont forget to go to the Burger restaurant on site which serves up an awesome burger and fries and has a yummy variety of milkshakes.

Family ski trip

Westgate at park city was a great place to stay with kids. The one bedroom suite had a full kitchen with a nice table with room for 6-8 easily. The ski valet was a great service. You can register your skis at the beginning of your trip with the ski valet. Every morning, they will take your skis out to the base for you and you can drop them off at the end of the day and they will bring them back into the resort. The kids loved the pool which had an indoor and outdoor area. It is nicely heated. There is a game room but we did not have time to check it out, though it looked like fun. The Westgate is at a good location, at the base of Canyons, by the gondola. There are several restaurants at the base that are worthwhile. The hotel even has a complementary shuttle service to take the guests around town.

This is not a luxury resort by any means. The rooms are small, dark, and outdated. The walls are PAPER thin, our neighbors were extremely loud and we could here everything. Only nice part was the turn down service. We won’t be back.

Luxury and amazing accommodations! Highly recommend, especially for shoulder-season!.

We had a 3 night stay. We were able to get an amazing deal for shoulder season on a "Luxury" (that's their classification of room) 1 bedroom with an in-room, oversized (2-person) Jacuzzi. I highly recommend this 870 sq. ft. floor plan, but they have many accommodations to chose from .

I did not realize how many features this property would have that were perfect for shoulder (late spring) season. Multiple pools (indoor adult only with waterfall + indoor/outdoor heated), multiple spa tubs, beautiful tennis courts, children's playground, steam room, sauna, and more. The feature I was most impressed by was the in-room steam room feature in our large oversized shower (with bench). I have never had this before and ti was a luxurious addition. We were on the top floor of our building and there were oversized vaulted ceilings with a fireplace and huge TV. The dining room table was huge. The kitchen was tight for 2 people to work in at the same time, but it has all the equipment you could need. There was in room stackable laundry which we also did not expect but was quite useful to have!

Service was great! The have a free shuttle with an app that works like Uber or Lyft and we used it once. We had a rental car, but with this feature, you really don't even need a car if you're staying local! There are also 2 bus stations (one on site, and one 1/4 mile down the road) to Park City's free city busses! Also, there are electric bikes at the bus station down the road. The valets and concierge were very friendly.

As other reviews mention, the layout (as well as location of some amenities) is a bit odd and confusing. You will need the map (a lot) (and maybe 45 minutes of time walking around) to truly figure out the layout, but this should not be a reason to avoid this property in any way.

We did have one issue with housekeeping. They had not come by 4:30 (while we were gone most of the day). I called and asked if they could please come, but now until the latest possibly time (which they said was 6) so my daughter could nap. Sure enough they came at 5:15. Also, the housekeeping was inconsistent. Somedays they would do certain tasks and then not do them the next day (ie one day trash taken out, the next day not - one day certain items refilled, the next day not). Of the whole experience, the housekeeping was the weak link (but it was NOT dirty or gross in any way, more of the service aspect).

The lodge is beautiful and the waterfall out from is spectacular. Overall, I would return here in a heartbeat!

Outstanding place. Great customer service and dining. I visited the spa whilst there and very pleased with the experience. The adult relaxation pool with indoor waterfall was perfect for an early morning swim.
