Weekend getaway.

Amazing and huge resort. We loved the pools and the food was great. Our suite was amazing. We had a stone bathtub in our living room and a very comfortable bed. The balcony had a great view of the mountains. Heated pools by the way.

Spacious One Bedroom Signature Villa with a View of the Gondalos
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Stayed in a one bedroom signature villa. First room had a view of the AC units and the roof. This was quickly rectified by Roberto at the front desk. He showed us the only other room available and assisted us in changing rooms, Kudos Roberto. The room was spacious and clean and had everything one would need in the full kitchen to the jacuzzi tub and huge bathroom with shower (loved the rainfall shower) and outside deck with a view. Every staff member we encountered greeted us with a smile and hello and a " my pleasure" response. The free shuttles were most appreciated, drove us downtown, shopping, and other areas with no hesitation, and pick up also. Thank you to all the drivers!! The indoor/outdoor pool looked amazing, but the kids were off from school the week we were there, and was like being on a Disney cruise. So many families. The adult only Serenity pool and hot tub were great and the Serenity Spa was relaxing as well. Yes, it is confusing getting to different areas of the resort, but just ask the staff and you will get there with a "my pleasure". Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous Suite With a View

I stayed with a co-worker in a suite, and it was huge! I hated to go to the conference; I’d much rather have stayed in the amazing accommodations! The rooms were well decorated, clean and inviting. The location was perfect, and staff was kind and efficient. Will definitely be back for pleasure.

Poor service, small outdated rooms

We did not get the room that we reserved, we got the lowest available room (luxury suite is what they called it, more like a tiny studio). Management (Becca) wouldn't help since they were fully booked. Said since we booked through a third party, they couldn't do anything and wouldn't even give us any vouchers for future stays or for any of the restaurants on site. She acted like we were lying, and was more concerned we knew her extensive history in hotel business. The sofa bed was not comfortable and was right outside the main bed with only a pocket door. No privacy. Could hear all of the neighboring rooms as if they were in our room, very thin walls. Outdated, damaged decor. Couldn't check in until 4:00 p.m. and had to be out by 10:00 a.m. the next day, so you don't even get a day in your room (if you're lucky, you get 18 hours). The arcade games didn't function properly and we lost half our money due to the malfunctioning games. No towels available at the pool area, had to call to get housekeeping to bring more. The one hot tub didn't have working jets, and the concrete is cracked. The tiles around the pool are extremely slick. Will never stay here again.

Construction NOISE every morning
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

One of our worst vacations ever. We were looking forward to this trip for a long time as it was our 20th Anniversary. Upon arriving there was road construction and building construction onsite. We did not think this would be a problem. (We were wrong). OK lets do the negatives first.

CONS: After we checked in we wanted to drive around and see the sites. We told the Valet guy that we did not want to free valet at this time. We just wanted to drop our bags in the room and drive around. He gave us a map and told us to pull through the parking garage and go to the upper level. We approached the parking garage using his directions and came to the gate to swipe the room key card. After several attempts a man ask us what we were doing. I showed him the ,map they drew us. He said that only Valet people can access this gate. He let us in and after trying to find a place to park and drop the luggage we turned back. I talked to the original valet guy who said he did not know that the garage had a gate. Really? Next the hotel is a Maze. Two elevators to get to the room. The room is small. Very small. There is a table that folds up to eat on but when it is up it blocks the fridge. To get to the pool down to floor 5 out the door out side down a long hall to another elevator up to floor five. Pool was nice warm but a long walk. You receive a breakfast voucher for the mini "StarBucks" which is good for a small coffee and donut. Wahoo. Finally we decided to check out because the morning construction noise was unbearable. We were informed that we would not receive a refund for the last two days as they have a 72 hour cancellation policy. Great.

PROs: The food at the bar and grill was exceptional. That is it
