How to Get There
This was our 4th time and my kids continue to love the water park. We do not do many of the other attractions. The hallway was a little noisy in the kid cabin but over it was a great experience. One child had a slight reaction to the chlorine with her eyes but we bought goggles and that helped.
This is a huge place with lots to do inside. Between the massive indoor water park, the places to eat and the games there is plenty to keep the family busy for a few days.
The water park is a lot of fun with different attractions for everyone from small kids to adults. There are also multiple places to eat. You can get burgers, pizza, snacks, ice cream, and a nice breakfast bar.
We didn't try a lot of the games but they looked fun and the story time at night was a really neat little show to watch.
Now for my 2 biggest gripes:
1. Checkout time is like 11 or 12 o'clock, but yet the water park doesn't open until 10, so that doesn't give much time at all to enjoy it the next day. Not sure why it can't open at 9???
2. I know that this is largely a place for kids, but there were quite a few areas that could use some TLC before they get bad. A little preventive maintenance can go a long way at a place like this.
Also, the rooms were awesome. We loved the bunk beds inside of the little cabin.
We will definitely be back here to spend a few days next time instead of just 1!!!
My kids absolutely loved this place! They can't wait to go back. I have a 4 and a 2 year old, and they were thrilled with the appropriate size of slides and activities in the younger section of the water park. My wife and I loved the large slides at the water park. It is great for all ages! The kids loved the character experiences. My four year old loved story time, although my two year old was admittedly a little scared of the animatronics. The staff in the lobby were so great with the kids! We loved that they had a coloring and craft table in the lobby as well, as we used it to keep the kids occupied during a couple of down periods. The room was spacious and clean. The sink was a little high for kids the age of ours, but that's a minor complaint. We just lifted them up to wash their hands and brush their teeth, but you may want to have a stool with you if you have younger kids. The food choices seemed excellent, although we brought our food with us and used the fridge and microwave in our room to save money. I'll say that most of the food in the resort seemed a bit overpriced, but the pizza actually seemed to be on par with other pizza places outside the restaurant. The restaurants all looked solid though. We didn't do most of the other experiences, as were only there one night and wanted to focus on the water park. Our two young kids spent about 8-10 hours in the water park over the course of two days and loved every minute of it. We will definitely be returning.
The entire resort is very clean and everyone is very friendly. Plenty of activities for the kids and they LOVE it. We will definitely continue to visit this location. We do go off campus for meals b/c the restaurants aren't rated very well, but there are a ton of options very close.
Overall our trip was good. The kids enjoyed it and had a good time. For the price we paid though we would not visit again. We thought we’d spend a little extra for a place like this but ultimately it was underwhelming
