How to Get There
I feel valued while staying at the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was welcomed by the beat of the 'lali" I haven't come across this in my life when we are welcomed at the entrance of the hotel, it was really lovely. Furthermore, the Bula smile by the staff on that evening just makes me feel at home. First night I entered the room, I was really amazed to see how beautiful and spacious the room was. Before I sat down I went to the bathroom, look at me through the mirror, it was so wonderful, I was blessed to have a chance to come to this hotel through our work. It was fabulous.
My room at Radisson Blu Resort was good with its lovely little garden terrace. The room was peaceful and so was the terrace. The hotel area was beautiful with its waterfalls, trees and flowers. Everything functioned well, eg. the free Wi-Fi connection.
The hotel personnell was very friendly, as Fijian people were in general.
There were several swimming pools and a jacuzzi. The pools were fine, but I wish
there would have been a deeper infinite pool as well.
I most definitely wouldn’t stay here if I didn’t have children with me. We stayed in a one bed suite and it was extremely spacious with a full kitchen and laundry. The staff set up the children’s cots in the lounge and there was still tons of space. The room was the best thing about this hotel.
The hotel itself has a kind of tacky vibe. The food is downright terrible, buffet just awful and the ‘kids eat free’ buffet is an absolute joke. If you stay here you should just walk next door along the beach to the Sheraton- their food is absolutely spectacular and the buffet is extremely high quality.
Kids pool is fabulous for kids- big slide and lots of floatation toys available to use. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Overall this was fine for a stopover on your way to the outer island resorts, but I wouldn’t base my holiday here.
Went on a business trip and took a family member who has lots of food allergies. The chef was very attentive and gave her a 5 star meal that she could eat! So rare! Melia was especially attentive. She watched over our food to make sure the birds didn’t get it when we had to rush off for a moment and she made sure the chef knew of our dietary restrictions. She told us of the lovely places to go and was especially courteous
The resort was nice. Better than most of the resorts in Denerau as it has been renovated most recently. The rooms are smart in design, clean and convenient (there is usb ports in all the outlets in the bedrooms and light switches are placed properly) I stay in Denerau a lot and because of this small detail I choose to stay at Radisson. The one thing I think they can improve on is their attention to single travellers. I felt weird sitting in the restaurants by myself. Some outlets played live music that was slow and romantic and geared towards couples. And then the others had big bula shows for families. So I just ended up either leaving the resort for dinner or eating in my room. The adults area is nice by the pool. Other than that it is one of the better resorts in Denerau.
