Excellent retreat

Courteous and competent staff, hot shower, cold AC, and a comfortable bed. Nailed it! I arrived in a big group late at night, the travel agency had a mix up w my reservation, but the hotel staff jumped in to action and took care of the issue immediately. I’m very glad I stayed here and will do so again in the future.

Great personal vacation experience

I felt very welcome!! The staff was great!! The food in the restaurant was very good however, my waitress seemed to have been a tad intoxicated so the manager ended up serving me which was a much better experience!! Overall the hotel and amenities was very good!!

2018 Home-school Prom
Reviewed 1 week ago

My dad and I stayed the night for the 2018 Home-school Prom. The staff did keep their promise by asking us if we wanted a warm cookie at check in. The hallways were a bit eerie, kind of dark. However, when we got to the room, we were delighted! The room had a safe, 2 clean, soft beds, a nice bathroom with all the essentials, and a nice view of Kingsmill. The room was sunny and vibrant. The hotel smelled good. The prom was amazing. We used the event room and the hotel staff cooked a wonderful dinner. The overall stay was excellent. The only reason I give the hotel 4 stars is because 1. no free breakfast and 2. no vending machines on the 5th floor.

April is awful
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

April ruined our stay by arguing with my guest and I, she spoke to us like children or people that could not pay, because we didn't realize the breakfast was not included. There was no need to embarrass us in this situation. This hotel is not meeting their guest satisfaction guarantee. Would not recommend. Will not be back.

Family trip to busch gardens

There was an old dirty sock sticking out underneath the bed. The air was not consistent in the room and sooo loud. Pillows were old and clumpy and I woke up with a stiff neck next morning. The exit doors were open allowing anyone to enter although it looked like it should’ve been opened with room key. Just didn’t feel safe
