Conference hotel

Did not meet the expectations from the poor Internet connection, was not as clean as expected. A/C in the conference areas and the Internet connection was not good. One aspect that the hotel had going for it was the excellent people in the reception desk.

Great stay and super close to Busch Gardens. Great for when leaving the park late at night. Rooms were clean and staff was nice. Restuarant had great food and drinks. We got in late so it was nice to have that option

Great hotel. Close to the parks.

Lots of free parking. Front desk staff were excellent. Room was clean and large. Internet was very good. Room service good but were tough to reach. Could not get closer to Busch Gardens if you tried. Only complaint was noise. Most of the time was quiet except for loud couples. I thought I would leave a Sunday morning church show on for them when I left :)

Excellent service rating to both Ashlee and Elizabeth who work in Pitchers
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

On our first night Thursday Sept. 27th my wife Sheila and I were served by Ashlee in the Pitchers sports bar. She was friendly, extremely helpful, and asked us several times if everything was alright. We left my wife's purse behind accidentally. Ashlee tracked down what room we were in a commendable effort as we had paid by a credit card. Then she practically ran all the way to our room on the sixth floor to return the purse. Sheila and I expressed our profound gratitude for Ashlee's admirable dedication to duty. Now I wish to write of Elizabeth. On Friday Sept. 28th and Saturday Sept. 29th she helped me with my lunch order. Elizabeth is the model of efficiency. She is patient, cheerful, helpful, and moves very quickly. Elizabeth was able to bring out my food in a timely manner and still wait on all of her other tables. Just like Ashlee she checked in on me several times to see if everything was OK and to fill my ice water. With all of these things in mind these are two of the most outstanding employees my wife and I have encountered since we joined the Hilton Honors program in 2004. Ashlee and Elizabeth show the stuff capable managers are made of and should be considered for promotions at a future date. As far as the hotel goes there should be a few improvements. There were not enough employees to help people get luggage and belongings to their rooms. On one cold night we tried to turn the heat in the room on. The filters must not have been changed as there was a foul order and some dirty particles emitted.
