Perfect for a Williamsburg Visit
Reviewed 1 day ago

The Williamsburg White House is an ideal place to stay. The location is within walking distance of the historic center of Williamsburg and an easy drive to the Jamestown Settlement, Yorktown and in fact all of the Hampton Roads region -- the "White House" is probably the BEST B&B in the area -- the hosts are warm and welcoming, the breakfasts delicious and the Inn and the rooms beautifully decorated and filled with wonderful presidential historic memorabilia (it is easy to spend hours browsing and exploring the history collected here) -- and John is a virtual fountain of presidential history -- all this with warm and comfortable accommodations. Thanks for our wonderful stay -- we'll be back!

A Great stay in Williamsburg
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

What a nice inn! From the time you pull in the parking lot you're greeted with the political theme of the inn. Inside the decor is all about US Presidents. Even the dining room feels like you are eating in the Regan White House. Our room was the FDR room. The decor was all done in that time period. It is very large with a separate seating area and large bath. Very comfortable, very clean, very nice. Great location for visiting the historic area or William and Mary University. Breakfast was delicious. And John and Debbie are fantastic hosts! We spent 3 enjoyable nights and would certainly stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Excellent B&B

Room was very nice - old historic charm and hosts were very helpful, friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was very good every day and very organized. Location is extremely convenient to Colonial Williamsburg (walking distance) and directly across the street from William and Mary University with very nice views of the campus.

Superb B & B

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would as my husband and I have been here several times and everything is always top notch. Breakfasts are consistently delicious and the presidential theme decor is so interesting. The rooms are comfortable and afternoon snacks are always a nice treat. Convenient location to colonial Williamsburg with plenty of guest parking. John and Debbie are wonderful hosts and we look forward to returning next year!

A Perfect B&B!

I am surprised that there are any negative reviews about this B&B. We recently stayed for two nights and it was excellent; considerably better than every other B&B we have visited. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. We had the Lincoln suite, which had two bathrooms and a comfortable seating area. The guest sitting room and library were also very comfortable and we loved the decor. There's a White House/ Presidential theme throughout the house, making it so unusual and interesting. It's a short drive or walk to Williamsburg, where there are several good places to have lunch and dinner. Breakfast was also very good (we have often been disappointed with B&B breakfasts) with a choice of dishes or cereal. Both the tea and coffee were excellent; and in the early evening you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine or port and a delicious home baked snack. Debbie and John are so friendly and helpful, we felt more like visiting friends than paying guests. We both have an interest in history, particularly military, so it was wonderful talking to John who is so knowledgeable about it. We highly recommend this inn.
