How to Get There
My husband and I really loved this hotel. Positives: friendly staff, yummy food, great rooms, pool, hot tub, nice gym, free parking, etc. We had a very relaxing weekend and we will definitely be back!
Excellent experience at this Westin. The Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. Our Hotel room was well laid out and maintained. We found the mattress to be firmer than other Heavenly Beds that we have slept on.
The staff was very responsive to the needs of our dogs and they have a nice trail running around and behind the property. The location is away from the city but downtown is easily accessible. Unlike in most facilities the rear of the door did not identify the locations of an ice machine so that was a bit of an inconvenience.
Overall we would definitely stay at this location again.
I wanted to share an experience we recently had at the Westin. My wife and I have been longtime customers of the Sheridan and Westin Hotels. We probably have had a few hotels built just from the money we have spent from being long time customers. '
Whenever we have a great, or not so great, experience, I love to share them. Recently my wife and I visited the Westin, we are locals so we did not stay at the hotel, we did, however come in for some drinks and an appetizer,
The service we received from the bartender, Alyssa Worley and the server, Courtney Stuhr was AWESOME !!! When we arrived, we were quickly greeted and led to our seats, which we requested to have, after being allowed to sit where we desired, we were quickly met by Courtney who provided some of the best service I have ever received at this location. I requested a certain type of drink only to be informed that they were out of that particular drink, it was then that Alyssa informed us that they still had some left and the error was corrected. I know this doesn't seem like much, but the fact that I was informed that I could have what I requested initially was a pleasant surprise.
As the night continued, the bartender, Alyssa was very quick with our service as well as Courtney. So, I NEED to say, that these 2 staff members were awesome and contributed to our enjoyable evening.
Thank You Westin, Courtney and Alyssa for contributing to yet another enjoyable evening.
Pros- comfy bed, clean rooms, Peloton bikes
Cons- hit or miss customer service, elevators are either broken or take forever
I stay here regularly for business- typically one nighters so I don’t spend a ton of time in the hotel. But in my experience, it is a very clean hotel w ample parking. The elevators are probably the most frustrating part of this hotel. They only have 2 elevators and almost every stay I made last year, one was down. Now there are two in service but it does take quite some time to get into one.
Service is pretty consistent and food is higher quality. If you want a pretty speedy place to eat a sit down meal with good quality service, The Westin hotel is the place for you. It is near my office and almost never fails to satisfy.
