How to Get There
This hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated in beiges, off whites, soft grey and shades of pink that feels so comforting. The lobby, courtyard, bar and restaurant, the rooftop bar all offer a range of experiences. There is an art gallery on the lowerevel. The attention to the smallest detail is impressive. There was a quiet noise machine in my room. Quirky is the perfect name, and you need to experience it to understand why. I highly recommend this hotel. Flawless.
Walking up to this hotel was a daydream. The branding on the front windows was perfect, and the entire atmosphere of the lobby was so sweet and inviting, with pops of grey, pink, and gold everywhere. A perfect boutique hotel experience. The assortment of comfy seating was charming and clean-I wanted to sit in every single chair available (and I almost did throughout my stay!) The staff was so wonderful too, from Matt at the front desk to Mony the bartender to my server at the restaurant, Tony, and I even got to meet Chef David, whose menu was a HUGE highlight of my trip. I would 100% recommend the restaurant in the lobby.
The room was perfect. High ceilings, modern lighting, huge windows, and the colors from the lobby carried into the room perfectly with little touches of gold and pink everywhere. And, everything was perfectly clean. Like, my socks didn't even get dirty from the floors.
Thank you, Quirk, for making my stay in Richmond so perfect!
Elegant, restored, historic downtown Richmond building with classic architectural elements tastefully honored with a subdued palette of soft beiges, grays, off whites and hues of whimsical pinks. Artwork here throughout including courtyard, and art gallery. Very lovely landscaping use of potted plants and planted boxes. Rooms have high ceilings, tasteful, subdued but modern vibe, even quiet noise devices in rooms. Excellent service, friendly helpful staff who provided every need with a smile. The rooftop bar is super fun and has a 360 degree view of Richmond. Great place to stay for fun, business, or a getaway. Would definitely stay again and again.
Very interesting hotel, very quirky and very pink. Not a place I would normally stay, this was a business trip, hotel was picked by the company, but overall my stay was pretty good. The building was really cool, it was an old department store, the service was exceptional and the mattresses and bedding were quite comfy. I didn't really care for the exact location and I was not impressed with the room for the price. It was very nice for our business meeting though, good facilities and amenities. It is in walking distance to several nice restaurants, but take a buddy it's a bit creepy if you are walking alone, especially after dark. The restaurant food was really good when I ordered room service, but I did not enjoy the food that was catered for our event breakfast or lunches. So overall, I had a love/sorta dislike relationship with this hotel. It was by no means a bad stay, I just don't know if it would be considered a good value.
I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is amazing. The rooms are amazing. I expected an older hotel to be less comfortable, but my room (on the sixth floor) was bright and spacious with high ceilings and large windows. I slept with the shades open and I could see the stars. I don't know how to describe the decor, but it was very authentic: pink walls, wood floors, nicely tiled in the bathroom, warm shower with good water flow, comfortable bed.
