Quirk delivers every time

Of the multitude of times I've stayed at Quirk, each experience is full of fabulous ambiance and service. The cuisine and staff continue to outdo themselves. Kudos to the team for maintaining such a high level of excellence over the years.

Outstanding Service

I'm a foodie and expect excellent service. The restaurant at QUIRK is perfect as long as you can accept a limited menu. Since we arrived quite early, we had a brief tour of the roof top, courtesy of Jeremy. In the meantime Angela had our table prepared ahead of schedule. Everyone of our ten guests loved their dinners that were perfectly served. I love the fact that about five servers arrived together to make sure all meals were presented at the same time and were hot. The ambience suits me perfectly as does the authentic, friendly service. In my book, the Quirk hotel and restaurant is an important Richmond destination.

it was very nice, room was clean ad bed and pillows were very comfortable. food was fine, service was very professional. Hotel was trendy looking and was in a perfect location. my only wish was there was a hotel store to buy drinks, food and travel accessories.

Too many Rules for the RoofTop Bar
Reviewed 6 days ago

I attended a retirement event that had reserved a portion of the Rooftop bar. The view is superb, the weather was great, appetizer foods were OK, and the drinks were fine. Problem is, they are more worried about the "Penthouse Patrons" than anyone else. In order to use the restrooms you were forbidden to walk through the passage way, but rather had to climb a set of stairs, go through the main bar, down a set of stairs and repeat to get back to the party. Even though it's outside, there is no area set aside for smoking, so be prepared to get in the elevator to the ground floor, and go outside. Other than these inconveniences, you should be fine.

Pretty in Pink!

I was in town for 24 hour business and it was suggested I stay at Quirk. Well I owe that friend a drink for such a cool, wonderful, and delicious suggestion. First, location, location, location! In the heart of Richmond, walking distance to The National (for good live music), across the street from Comfort (down home cooking restaurant) and easy access to other parts of Richmond. Quirk has a restaurant, rooftop bar, art gallery, nice gift shop (this ain't no typical hotel gift shop) and usual banquet space for meetings, special events, blah, blah, blah. But what is cool is the atmosphere. Staff wears jeans, with matching tops, the signature color is pink, but not too bold. The rooms are basic, but very comfortable, with touches you will appreciate. And do dine in! Maple & Pine offers three meals daily. I had drinks and apps my evening there and breakfast the following morning. Everything was very good with nice presentation. Service was excellent. Their common sitting areas are so nice, I decided to have my meeting there. I'll be back, and not just for a business meeting!
