How to Get There
I chose this hotel for my friends and family to stay in for my wedding weekend. That was a mistake. We booked a suite for two nights (Friday & Saturday). After staying the first night, the cleaning staff never came to clean our room. Coming back to the hotel on Saturday evening, a rat was running down the hallway. All of the friends and family that came back to the hotel that evening, had to go straight up to their rooms because they had no one to run the bar. The next morning, my friends and family came down for breakfast to see buckets catching water from the ceiling. It was raining outside and water was leaking from the ceiling all throughout the lobby. The breakfast station was pretty poor. There was only one small station for the entire hotel. When I came to checkout at the front desk, I told the front staff employee about our stay. She didn’t have much to say and just printed me out my receipt. Being the bride, I was embarrassed that my family/friends stayed here. I hope they can turn things around, otherwise I don’t recommend!
Hotel located near Liberty University. Reasonably priced. Breakfast is included. Powdered eggs from a carton. Frozen hash browns cooked and always loaded with cracked pepper and served cold. No biscuits & gravy. Wait staff had difficulty finding salt and pepper? Dinner menu offer no vegan entrees (unless you want to live off salads). It wouldn't be difficult to at least offer something like spaghetti with marinara sauce. Hotel front looks good. The back is in horrible condition. Old rusty structure. Pot holes big enough to swallow a small car. Not well lite at night (not on the sides either). Rooms spacious and relatively quiet, although I had a crying baby next door. I was here for four days and not once did the shower get above a mildly luke warm water. That wasn't a pleasant experience. The lamp behind the chair did not work in my room. No extra outlets beside the bed for plugging in phones. Bed pillows were flatter than a pancake and no top sheet. Four days and not once was the bed changed or remade. Towels would be changed if dirty ones left on the floor? No one to help load your luggage (I think this is becoming a thing of the past, but not for the better). Common area restroom definitely not cleaned on an as beeded basis.
We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and I was so disappointed. From the dirty walls, stained carpet, taped up windows, mildewed showers, rusty soap dispensers, no top sheets on the bed, soft mattresses and poor cleaning service... never again.
