There wasn't much terrible or good about this hotel. The room was pretty modern but the shower was not to my taste. The biggest cons were the lack of free wifi and the lack of free parking. I probably won't stay here again.

inattentive event service

My son was playing in a chess tournament at this hotel this past weekend. I went to pick him up around 7 pm. They weren't busy, but I found the entrance area blocked by a car parked on the left side of the pull-in area and a van being unloaded into a big rolling cart on the right side. There would have been room to get between them, except that the valet had left the driver's side door of the van fully open! My attempts to get his attention to ask him to close the door were first ignored, then met by a "What's your problem?" look. My attempt today to call the hotel to tell them about this incident got me three transfers and then somebody's voice mail. I think I know all I need t know about this hotel's commitment to guest service. Ugh!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Most important thing for me is a good night rest for a fresher me the next day. This hotel delivers that with super comfy bed. Spacious room so you can easily bring in your big luggage. I love the toiletries. The scent of the shampoo & body lotion can be relaxing. They even gave a small roll on lavender oil essential oil to help you to have a good night sleep.

Not Worth The Price

I assumed because this hotel was in a nice part of town, it would be an adequate place to stay. I was not satisfied with my stay at all. Upon check-in, some random guy was standing at the front entrance smoking marijuana. I requested a crib for my newborn and they brought my something that reminded me of a bed from the 1960's mental asylum. The room looks nothing like the photos. Carpets are dirty, the elevators are tiny so we took the stairs and the stairwells look similar to what you'd find in the New York City slums (mold, mildew, hot, dark, and scary). Definitely not worth the $100+. Better off staying at a cheap Motel 6.

Pleasant Stay!

Although I visit Washington DC Metro Area pretty often, this is my first time staying in Tysons Corner. I stayed at the Westin Tysons Corner. The hotel is very nice. The staff was conscientious and courteous. The king size bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed the large comfortable chair for the desk. I had a little work to do oh my tablet, and that made it nice.. It's convenient to the large Tysons Corner Malls. It's right off Interstate 495 which it convenient getting there. I spent two nights there, and would gladly do it again.
