How to Get There
We picked the Westin Tysons Corner for a romantic weekend getaway for Valentine's weekend. From the moment we made the reservation, guest experience specialist Estela Sunga made sure it was an unforgettable weekend for the two of us. She worked hard to ensure we were well taken care of and took care of our questions and concerns. All the staff was nice. I want to mention Ishmael at the front desk who checked us in and since there was no bell hop at that moment so he helped us with getting our luggage to the room. More took nice pictures of us around the property so we would remember the moment. Estela is also a good photographer. The staff in the breakfast area was awesome. We did not want to leave but when we did Sura at the front desk gave us a friendly send off. Thanks Westin for a great weekend.
I love my Business stays at the Westin Tyson’s Corner! They really take care of their guests and always find ways to surprise and delight! I love the staff. I wanted to specifically call out Estela Sunga for greeting me by name when I come, anticipating my needs etc! I would highly recommend her and the hotel and will stay again in the future!
We have tried four times to get our bill updated, to no avail. No return call from accounting. This was a great stay, but the experience with customer service ensures I will not be staying here again.
The hotel is huge and busy, but somehow the front desk staff seemed to remember us as if we were the only guests there. Estella was helpful and friendly as was everyone we came in contact with. Really the best costumer service I've experienced in along time.
Room was clean with very nice furniture, bedding, toiletries, and bathrobe, Even had lavender essential oil on the nightstand for restful sleep. There was a mini fridge, complimentary water bottles, and a keurig with Starbucks. Also enjoyed the lobby cafe that served Starbucks in the morning, although it was not open all day.
The room, while fairly plush, was not quiet. We seemed to share a floor with many college-aged students who were having a great time running from room to room. I was dreading trying to sleep but was surprised when they were all quiet by 11:00. The only noise after that was loud plumbing from room next door.
Tysons Corner is a great area bustling with every amenity imaginable and a nearby mall. Hotel offers free shuttle service to the mall and metro station. It is about a 30 minute metro ride to downtown DC or a $20 Uber fare plus tip.
Halfway between Dulles (IAD) and DC itself it is a comfortable hotel, it’s located near a highway but there are some places you can walk to, such as the mall, or the subway, and if you don’t feel like walking the hotel has a free shuttle service (specially convenient in Winter). The staff is very kind and friendly, specially the guys who drive the shuttle, George and I can’t remember the other guy’s name, awesome dudes!
