Interview in Restaurant

I needed to interview a young woman applying to my alma mater. This hotel’s restaurant was ideally located, and my memory of the place from when I worked at the office building next door in the 80’s was that it was bright and airy and quiet. In the decades since, they’ve TOTALLY refurbished the place, and it’s become a happening destination. Our 2pm interview was hours before the restaurant was scheduled to open, but the staff gave us a table and some coffee anyway and left us totally to ourselves. It was PERFECT for what we needed.

Business Meeting - Group Meeting -

My Business Headquarters is just down the street. Close to transit - close to 495 and airports. Area seemed very quiet and it was easy to run very early in the morning. Very close to the Galleria - Ubers are available - Hotel has a shuttle that worked great for me.

If you want to sleep, avoid this hotel.....

I stayed here for 3 nights to attend a work conference. I felt like I was part of science project for sleep deprivation. Between the constant dinging of the elevator bell, the uncomfortable beds, and the prison pillows, you will not get a good night's sleep. The staff is very nice, but it can't make up for the exhaustion and lack of concentration I endured due to the lack of sleep. I spoke to everyone else that was there for work with me, and they either heard the highway behind them, the loudness of the downstairs, the elevator, or just people walking around on their floor talking.

Pay extra if you have to and stay somewhere else.
