We had a great experience at the Oakhurst Inn. Everyone was welcoming and friendly our entire stay. The buildings have been tastefully renovated with a modern flare. Many quiet libraries to relax in and a cute cafe with delicious breakfast! The avocado toast and pumpkin latte were spot on! We were surprised with an upgrade to the penthouse - room 24! The room was very clean, spacious and modern. They even turned down our bed with yummy cookies. This was the perfect homebase during our time in the city.

Lovely Stay at Oakhurst!

We had a really nice stay at Oakhurst Inn. The front desk staff were very friendly and the complimentary valet parking was always very quick. Our room was on the first floor of the main building and well sized with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. The bar in the main building was a nice stop for a drink after dinner.

Pros - Very clean & comfortable / well lit room, turndown service with cookies, helpful and nice staff, nice bar.

Things to be aware of - Our room was on the first floor steps from the lobby which I wouldn't book again. It was pretty loud until after 11pm but the complimentary sound machine helped. Our bathroom for whatever reason was extremely cold and the shower only had a half glass door which allowed for cold air to get in.

Overall we would stay at Oakhurst again.

Overpriced

A room in the basement of an old home—-one small window in a corner—-only a stiff desk chair to sit on—-a flimsy shower curtain and weak water pressure.....these are some of the shortcomings that make the label of ‘boutique’ a misnomer for this Inn.
I would, however, return for breakfast at the cafe.
