How to Get There
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The management took pride in maintaining the hotel and making sure it is kept clean. The front desk staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooms were very nice and comfortable.
I had requested and paid for a corner room which was described as having “windows on adjacent walls”. This typically means that one has a view from the corner of the building. This wasn’t the case at all—yes, the room was in a corner, but the window on the adjacent wall was very small and located about 18 feet away from the main window and looked out onto another building. I felt like this was a very disingenuous description of the room.
The staff was very nice and helpful. Parking overnight there was a little steep—one version of the website referred to both self-parking and valet parking. There is no self-parking offered by the hotel. Valet parking is $34/night—given the location, this doesn’t seem warranted. The website no longer mentions self-parking.
Stayed August 10 weekend. Room, breakfast, valet parking, location and great staff. Front desk specially manager was polite and accommodating to all our needs. We will stay again.
Hotel is close to some bars and restaurants. We ate quick lunch at Big bun Berger place. Food was good. This location is closer to Metro station may be 5 min walk.
Foreign hairs in both beds, dirty sink in bathroom, dirty shower liner, this place wants to be nice but it is all a sham—it’s your basic hotel disguised as a luxury hotel, I would not stay again and would not recommend
Third time I’ve stayed here. Rates were reasonable, property is nicely decorated, comfortable, restaurant food was good. It’s convenient to the Ballston subway stop. Quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of some other WDC/suburb neighborhoods.
Staff is friendly, professional, and helpful.
