Unremarkable stay - no issues encountered

Two night stay during work trip. Good location. Rooms are fine. Tea/coffee maker, in-room safe present. Charging dock was very helpful. Room was very very clean - not a speck of dirt. Breakfast was OK. No buffet facility. Lighting within the room can be improved. Wasn’t enough. Check in/check out was good. Front desk staff are very nice.

One of the nicer Westin hotels, easy walk to train station and restaurants

Stayed here for 1 night while on business trip catching an early flight out of DCA the next morning. This is definitely one of the nicer Westins I have stayed at, perhaps because it feels new. The neighborhood is quiet, and a short walk from the train station. Was originally planning to walk to old town Alexandria for a meal but it was cold and drizzly and settled for a Thai restaurant across the road instead. Got a nice room facing the courthouse with large windows which I love with all the natural light. Would certainly consider staying here again the next time in Alexandria.

I have stayed at Westin’s before. This one was meh. Bed was incredibly hard and the towels not fluffy and incredible as they used to be. It was clean and quiet but as far as the linens, towels etc. meh. Would I recommend? Sure. Just don’t get excited about the Westin experience. You won’t find it.
