How to Get There
I just needed an overnight stay before moving to a different hotel that was being provided for me by an annual conference. In prior years I just stayed at the conference hotel, but their shuttle doesn't run as late as I arrive for this annual event. It was awesome to stay at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town. When my late flight arrived, I just hopped on the METRO to the King Street Metro Station and walk across the street to the hotel. It was perfect. I slept great and enjoyed Starbucks in the lobby for breakfast.
Great location, access to everything via King Street is convenient, all staff were friendly, everything very clean, morning buffet breakfast overly costly, and self parking is overly costly. Concierege extremely helpful.
This was half business and half quick getaway with my wife. Location is excellent, town is great, proximity to DC is excellent. I couldn’t give the hotel a great rating because our room was adjacent to Metro Station which meant noise and we were assured we would not receive this type of room and we did. Also the pillows were the worst pillows we have ever slept on at all the many Hilton’s we have stayed in.
Change the pillows! Listen to the customer and honor the reservation.
