The WORST staff of service industry we have even seen in the whole Taiwan
Reviewed 1 month ago

I don’t recommend every Hong Kongese to have meal there as what my mom did with her friends yesterday.
It is not their price nor environment but their ATTITUDE!

My mom and her 13 friends including my auntie went there at around 1pm. There are totally 13 adults(and one little child) and they ordered 12 lunch sets since my auntie was not having appetite. She just sit there and didn’t even ask for a glass of tap water. The only male manager, having a poker face toward these ladies, KINDLY ask her to pay 200ntd for drink bar or GO AWAY, which can be generally considered as a protective act to bar greedy people to steal their drinks(which are just simple coffee and tea, not even including juice).

To make my statement fair, I am providing the factual info: there were about 20 tables in the setting my mom’s party occupied two big tables while only 3 other tables were sit by 2-3 customers, that means there was no lack of seats. There were 12 mid age ladies, 1 male young adult and 1 child of 3yo, all of who are from Hong Kong. They are talkative females but as a modern citizen from HK, I don’t think they are annoying.

I hate this company because their male staff is not a good staff, not a gentleman, not even a man. My auntie nearly cried because of this: it is unacceptable.

Fabulous high tea at wallet friendly price

Brought my family here for high tea which we all love it. Round table for 7 of us and every 2pax to share one 3-tier. One of us has our own 3-tier. At NT550, it's definitely worthy compared to high tea price in Singapore. 2 coffee machines and range of teas at the counter to help yourself. Good quality coffee which is important to me. Lovely and cosy English environment, highly recommended to come here if you have time.

Not worth paying for the hi-tea

At 550NT per pax and limited to 1.5hrs for the entire experience, it is really not worth the money. The food served is at best average standard. Would not recommend anyone to go for the food. But u can just take photos at its compounds which is FOC !

Nice view, kind staff. Most of them speak english a little. Food is ok, not good but not bad also. Wi-fi works very well. Clean place. Feels like you are in England 😁. Quite fast service. If you travel in Taiwan and u have time u should come to visit here.

It is quite amazing to have an English Tudor Castle built in the mountain of Taiwan. Heard all building materials were shipped from Europe and took six years to complete. Salute to Lo family’s perseverance and I believe they did build a legend. We stayed in the four people suite which has small patio. The room is spacious with complimentary snacks, red wine, Bvlgari toiletries and cosy slippers. At first I thought it was not children friendly hotel but actually kids amenities were available too. Just make sure to keep an eye on the children to prevent any damage of the surroundings exquisite decorations. All staff are well trained, very polite and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were included in the room rate. The food is not the best but can see their efforts. Unfortunately the time we stayed was a rainy night, cold and foggy, maybe summer season will have a better scene. They also provide free shuttle to and from Cingjing farm area. I think it is worth to stay at least once in a life!
