How to Get There
The other reviews say it all, service very good, attentive without being annoying. Even when sunbathing they bring you water, juice and I think grapefruit granita. Beautifully fitted rooms and great food. Would definitely recommend it.
Part of our Asia Cruise, we have stayed 3 nights in this amazing 6 stars hotel in HCM City. The decoration is quite eccentric for a Asian City but very attractive if you love Italian style. Very central in the city, you are few steps walks to the river side and many HCM city main attractions and Nguyen Hue street (main street). The personal is very dedicated and helpful. A big thumb up for them.
One of nicest hotel in Saigon but a little pricey.
I’m impressed by the Italian designed decorations, eventhought it’s not my style, by the staff, by the quality of the bedding! However the breakfast buffet has fewer choices compared to other 5* hotels nearby such as Hyatt. Although the suite prices are extravagant, food prices are reasonable at the European restaurants. Chinese restaurant has good Pékin ducks but be careful there are a minimum charge if you request a private dinning room and they don’t accept children (accept in-house). Italian restaurant Romeo&Juliet doesn’t accept kids at all, even inhouse guests, but I didn’t like their foods neither.
We went here on a Luxury Escapes holiday for 6 days. It is supposed to be Saigons only 6 star hotel. When we arrived our jaw dropped it is soooooo over the top decoration wise it is laughable. We were told it was Italian this and Italian that, dear readers have any of you got a friend that decorates their house like this and your dying to tell them less is more, they even have a Screensaver of a wood fire burning on the television in the bathroom despite it being 30° outside. It is the kind of place you feel like you shouldn't sit on any of the chairs in the foyer. It is very central between Dung Khoi St and Nguen Hue St possibly the two main streets in Saigon and a stones throw away from the Cathedral.
The minute attention to detail with service, food and the rooms make this hotel especially memorable. The rooms are superb with every need catered for. The spa is amazing, if slightly pricey, and the staff are always happy to help with queries.
