Contemporary crash pad in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City with skyline views from the rooftop restaurant

The Lowdown

A short stroll from the Saigon River and a 10-minute walk from Ho Chi Minh City’s bustling Ben Thanh market, the Pullman Saigon Centre’s glittering exterior juts into the sky, a symbol of thorougly modern Vietnam. The 306 rooms are all curvaceous minimalism–some in white-on-white, others with bold wall murals, all with killer city views. Expect luxe modcons like rain showers, espresso machines and 40 inch flat screen TVs that sync with your devices. After navigating Ho Chi Minh City’s labyrinthine streets, take a dip in the outdoor pool up on the sixth floor or hit the gym and gaze out at the skyline. The rooftop Food Connexion serves international dishes from an open kitchen surrounding a cylindrical wine system dispensing top-notch vintages by the glass. For light bites, Cobalt bar pairs drinks with Vietnamese tapas.

In the Area

Head to Ben Thanh market to shop stalls piled high with blingtastic jewelry, Vietnamese silks and souvenirs and refuel with a bubble tea or some pho from one of the many street food vendors. The neo-Romanesque Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica is an iconic photo-op. Grab the family and cool off at Dam Sen Water Park, which offers pools, slides and a lazy river; or visit the venerable Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden, among the oldest zoos in the world. And for a prime example of the city’s French-colonial architecture — and a memorable show — hit up the Saigon Opera House.

Clean comfortable and great service

A great location for either a holiday or business trip with this hotel conveniently located to everything you could possibly need. The hotel rooms are spacious modern and very clean and the staff happy to help in an instant. The restaurants are of a high quality and are fantastic if you want to avoid being knocked over on the busy streets. The transfers to and from the airport are also very good and cost effective. I will definitely be back and thanks for a great stay.

I Spent 3 day at Vietnam and stayed at Pullman for 2 nights! Nice room with cool view in the Deluxe room. Convenient location nearby bars and restuarants. And most importantly, friendly and helpful staff. Recommend! =)

I stayed a few nights in Pulmann Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.
The structure is extremely smart, my room was 21st floor with a wonderful wiev on the city.
I appreciated the roof top bar at 312st floor, where I had good food and drink.

I advice this hotel.

First Class Hotel with First Class Service

From the moment our taxi pulled up at the Pullman the service was fantastic. The Security Guard checked the taxi meter to ensure we had not been overcharged, and oversaw the transaction. We were then offered a complimentary beverage, the hotel's signature iced tea. Delicious. The delightful Quiynh checked us in with the most warm welcome we have ever received in a hotel (and between my husband and I we have done decades of traveling to beautiful hotels). What a delightful host she proved to be as she personally looked after us during our stay, suggesting places to visit, shopping suggestions, restaurant suggestions etc. The executive lounge is worth the upgrade -it was a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast and evening cocktails and canapes (They also do an afternoon tea, but we were out and about during the day so were unable to experience this ourselves, however if the cakes and pastries during breakfast and evening happy hour were anything to go by, afternoon tea is sure to be delicious!). The view from the lounge is sensational and gives you a fantastic feel for the scale of the city.

Rooms themselves are spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and an extensive pillow menu. The view from our room was breathtaking, the ability to sit in the bathtub and look over the entire city was a treat.

Location is convenient, walking distance to all the sights, parks and shopping in District 1. We did the XO foodie tour one night (see the tripadvisor reviews for that) which takes you to all the districts that tourists don't usually see and the opportunity to sample the real vietnamese cuisine that tourists don't usually have the opportunity to try (safely).

The Pool area is lovely, comfy lounges, plenty of shade, clean pool. My only criticism of the entire Pullman stay would be the poolside bar, there were no peanuts or snacks on offer to purchase (only full meals eg fries), and the staff were not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel.

However despite this, we had a wonderful few days in Ho Chi Minh and so much of that was due to this first class hotel, and specifically the wonderful hospitality of Quynh. We will return! Thank you Pullman Saigon Centre for a fabulous stay!
