Pleasant stay in Saigon

The hotel positions itself as a 5-star property, and, in my opinion, it is so. The staff is very helpful and attentive. The room was large with all the amenities that you expect at 5-star hotels. Breakfast buffet was wonderful with lots of options to choose from. WiFi was free and the signal was strong throughout the hotel.

Hotel nice, staff not so good
Reviewed 1 week ago

While the rooms are great (nice and clean), it is obviously geared towards the Asian market (staff struggle with basic English). As two Westerns travelling, we were given the barest of service at the restaurant for dinner (ordered crispy pork and was delivered duck twice!) and yet the table occupied by the Asian family was fawned over. Breakfast, while yummy, was in a dining room the felt more like dungeon than somewhere to enjoy a good meal. This is a great hotel if you are transiting from one flight to another overnight, but I would not recommend it for any longer. It is some distance from the city centre and doesn’t have much in the streets immediately around it to entice a tourist.

Nice Hotel at good location

I stayed just for a night in this hotel and it was good experience.

Front desk was nice enough to upgrade our room. The staff were very helpful and courteous.

The breakfast spread was nice and had delicious food .

VIETNAM/CAMBODIA

2 weeks in these 2 countries with a tour company-the good/the bad / the ugly
The good -all food especially breakfasts/chi chi tunnels -Saigon streets overall /war remembrance museum /custom clothes/ho chi Minh tomb /sunworld/panaroma in Siem reap
THE BAD-no arranged pick up at airport/various hotels have a huge picture window in the wall separating the bathroom & bedroom-REALLY!
all bus's had 1 door-front-no way to exit back
Mekong delta boat ride (optional ) was boring & not wort it
no time for important places but loads of time for prearranged shopping/factory places
sun land was amazing but no time!
water puppet show in Hanoi was juvenile & a waste of precious time
guide was uninformed & screwed me up - shame
golf cart street tour when walking was enough
Angor wat-an example of terrible planning-i by mistake found "panorama" in Siem reap the 20,000 square foot state of the art story of the temples. On a scale of 1-10 an 11 -Should be first stop b/4 temples. The tour/hotel/2 guides never mentioned it +++ other treasures.
THE UGLY
Don't get me started.Doing it all over again I would of changed many things to do 11s instead of minus 3s-same place/same $/same time -I relied on would be professionals

First time in HCM
Reviewed 1 month ago

First visit to this superb hotel. Location is great for transfer time from the airport about 15mins. Well appointed hotel with good restaurants and bar inside the hotel
Lovely pool and gym Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Rooms well up to 5* status. Shuttle bus into HCM We did use Vintasun taxis approx 80,000VND so no issue with tales of taxi scams for. Would recommend staying again.
