How to Get There
I was in Vienna for a business conference and other meetings, some at the Vienna International Center and others in the inner city. Near my contacts in the inner city and around the corner from a subway stop, the central location is ideal. Quiet rooms and friendly staff make this a great place to stay anytime of the year. My spouse joined me as she hadn't been to Vienna before and absolutely loved the hotel and, of course, the city itself with its museums, Christmas Markets, and general charm.
I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the centre of Vienna. It's 5-10 minute walk to all the best tourist attractions including St. Stephens Cathedral, the mini Christmas Markets, and all the best shops. You're round the corner to the Oxford Street of Vienna and 2 steps away from the world famous CAFE CENTRAL - A must! A lovely hotel, very clean, lovely staff, beautiful architecture from the exterior and worth the money. TIP - we didn't order breakfast but you don't need to with all the great local cafe's surrounding the hotel! I would recommend this hotel it's a must if you're visiting Vienna and want to stay central to the buzz. A little bit pricey but you're paying for the time of year you come (Dec 2018 for the Christmas Markets) and also being in the centre but totally worth it!
A modest business oriented hotel in the center of old town with updated, quiet rooms and a friendly helpful staff. We stayed here for three nights in December to visit Vienna during the festive holiday season. There is a lot to like about the hotel:
-modern, updated (though smallish) rooms on 7 floors - we booked a deluxe room-at reasonable prices
-updated and modern bathroom
-spotlessly clean and tidy throughout
-very quiet -did not hear any sounds from outside or inside
-nice firm bed (which I like, my wife not so much)
-quiet room fan
-sumptuous breakfast buffet with lots of health options (carrot juice, yogurt) in addition to traditional meats, cheese and eggs-something for everyone
-no smoking throughput-yeah!!
-free and reasonably fast Wi-Fi (especially fast in lobby and restaurant)
-it's Europe, expect smaller rooms with limited storage space
-breakfast was an extra charge
-room was a bit on the warm side (A/c off for winter)
Overall I really enjoyed our visit and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
We stayed at the Steigenberger to attend a prestigious conference at the Palace. The location is superb - just steps away from the famous Central Cafe, and many restaurants and attractions. We were here at holiday-time, so a couple of nights the lobby and bar areas were just packed with revelers, but that is not the norm, I believe. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a desk, a couple of chairs, and decent space to put things away. The wifi worked well and was included. The breakfast was really delightful, although why they have to put a noisy juicing machine right in the center of the works is astonishing to me. Put it in the back somewhere - nobody is excited that you can afford an expensive juicer and the noise is annoying. The staff were helpful to a fault, and provided things like umbrellas and directions promptly. The shower was modern and worked well, and on one evening we were provided with bath salts - and chocolates most evenings. I'd recommend staying here if you are keen to access the City center.
I believe this is the best hotel to stay in Vienna with Best location everything nearby within walking distance.
The room size are quite big and well maintained.
All Staff are wonderful and always ready to help with your query.
I will stay no where else if I am visiting Vienna next time.
Thank you all Hotel for wonderful stay
