Beautiful Vienna, situated in eastern Austria on the Danube River, has a unique energy, informed in part by its heritage of world-famous composers and writers. The stunning city also boasts an intriguing landscape of mountains, woodlands and river trails. Located in Margareten, a well-situated district of the capital, Austria Trend Hotel Ananas puts you among dozens of shops, bars and restaurants. A subway ride will take you to Schönbrunn Palace, the museum district, shops of mouthwatering chocolates, elegant cafés off of cobbled streets and lovely tree-lined parks.
At this four-star charmer, you’ll also find design that lets in lots of light and fuses traditional and modern aesthetics, setting the scene for a relaxing time during your city break. Rooms feature classic styles and modern amenities, for a comfortable and laid-back stay. To continue experiencing your setting, without having to leave, visit the sophisticated restaurant, which allows you to look out over the bustling surroundings while you dine – or head to the café-bar for a taste of the local coffeehouse culture.
Classic rooms at Austria Trend Hotel Ananas combine traditionally inspired interiors with functional modern amenities. Each features wooden floors, sound-proofed windows, calming tones and large, comfortable beds to create a cozy atmosphere.
Breakfast at Sonnenhof restaurant is a delight, what with an array of regional treats, fresh pastries, breads, mueslis and juices from a hot-and-cold buffet. The Johann Strauss Café offers coffees in every style; try the Einspänner with a slice of fruit cake on the side. Come evening, the Restaurant Moser serves a varied menu of local specialties, cooked-to-perfection steaks and delicious sweet dishes.
The hotel is just a short walk from the nearest subway station, offering instant access to the city’s social and cultural scene. The shops of Mariahilfer Straße and the eclectic food stalls of Naschmarkt can be reached on foot. For a truly romantic outing, nab yourself a seat at the State Opera for an evening.
How to Get There
We visited Vienna for Andre Rieu concert and stayed at Vienna Trend Hotel Ananas for five nights. The receptionist Simona is extremely helpful and pleasant. She show us where to go for a nice Vienna schnitzel. The hotel is clean and spacious, breakfast choice is decent (7/10). Hotel location is excellent, underground is 1 minute away, just across the road. The underground system is very convenient and cover the entire city. Two stops and we were at the Airport City Train station. It only took us 40 minutes from the hotel to the airport and inexpensive (12 Euros). I would come back to this hotel next time if we visit Vienna.
very well situated.
well equipped and nice decor.pity about in house restaurant ,which they couldn't cope with customers making it rather upsetting and poor coordination at dinner times.as opposed to breakfast which was of very good quality.
train station (underground) just opposite.
Good location opposite Pilgrammgasse Station. Friendly staff at the welcoming open plan reception area and in the bar and breakfast areas. Good choice of food at the breakfast. Have stayed here several times. Single and double rooms are both fine. Good selection of tv channels in different languages. Several restaurants in 1km walking distance. McDonalds located a few hundred meters. No coffee facilities in room but no problem using a travel kettle. Fridge in room and air con is very convenient as well.
We went in a group with customised package . So in vienna ( wien) our stay was here. It is a standard property located in the city. Mostly guest are from group tours. Hotel lobby and restaurant area is very big. Lobby is all time full with guest. Room size is small but ok for couple. Breakfast was good and offered many variety but not vegetarian. For vegetarians there are fruits salad bread milk cornflakes.
My suggestion to guest that look after your belongings in breakfast there may be chances of stolen even in city also you may loose your valuables passport etc if you are not aware.
My partner and I checked in on the 31 May 2018, for a weekend vacation. We were not impressed about the unavailability of hot beverages in the rooms. We love tea and find it ridiculous to have to go to the bar to have tea.
