A little effort and could be so much better

Qt is definitely potentially the best mountain accommodation available at fall creek. Definitely the premium position.
But so many little things let themselves down.
Great rooms and facilities.
Great food .
But the room service staff are pathetically lazy , consistently bad according to all we spoke too . At least 10 pother guests on our long weekend agreed they didn’t clean anything and often left the rooms as if they hadn’t been there at all except for new towels.
The rooms were dirty when we arrived and worse when we left .
Such a shame .
Seriously management you need some attention when you charge a premium!
You could be great!

OK, not great

Slightly below expectations for the price. Our 2 bedroom apartment didn’t have the mountain view we were hoping for and was overlooked by neighbouring apartment blocks. The apartment was ok but could have done with a thorough clean. Falls Creek itself was great for walking and biking in the summer. There’s not much going on in the village at this time of year so best to self cater as it’s $30+ for a meal and only a few places open.

At best a 3* propert in Summer at least

Such a disappointment as the QT Sydney is fabulous & this QT doesn't rate in comparison. We entered the room to find lolly wrappers on the floor between the couch & coffee table. The whole apartment hadn't been cleaned well at all & the balcony & the windows were filthy. Being there in Summer it was unbelievable that there wasn't even a fan in the room so it was incredibly stuffy. The lack of power points & lighting in the bathroom highlight many of the design flaws of this cheaply built & designed hotel. The interiors are cheap, a filthy rug on the floor, the cheapest of irons without a steam setting, an ironing board that only had a thin cover, no padding, so all my clothes had the markings of the metal underneath. We popped down to inspect the pool as it's more like a giant hot tub...just terrible & I cannot even imagine how a hotel could think that pool & the space around it could accommodate the guests of so many apartments. The highlights were the view, the pre arrival emails & the young man in reception who was very helpful but in Summer at least this is a 2-3 star property at best .

Great Place

I loved the QT in Falls Creek, the position right on the main ski lift was very handy. It was really the place to be with bazaar and Stingray offering a good and very tasty selection of food and drinks for everyone. The hot tub on the terrace was the greatest about this stay. After a long day boarding, you get back to soak in your hot tub and have a view over the Bogong High Plains, nothing more to ask for.
Thanks for an amazing stay.

What a letdown!

We have stayed at the QT in Sydney and Bondi and the QT Falls Creek was a real letdown for the chain - we visited in hot summer and there was no air-con or even fans!
Ok, so, we can get over that, but the floors were filthy and we had to pick up rubbish on the floor after the last tenants.
If that was the end of it it would have been great - but the whole installation reeks of cheap! Missing vital elements like a kettle, or toaster are not made up but by the “cutesy” defeats head art on the walls.
Absolutely poor form for the QT brand. Would never recommend anyone stay here in the off season.
