Does it get any better than this?

We stayed here on points on March 9 in room 1403. Jan at check-in was friendly and efficient.

We arrived shortly after noon and he made sure he checked us into a room that was ready and got the houseman to provide us with an crib for the baby, confirming our special request at check-in.

We rested for a couple of minutes and walked over to Fisherman's Wharf to join our whale-watching tour. On our way out we spoke to Monika at the front desk and inquired if we would be able to get a later check-out for the next day. She was quick to authorize a 1 pm check-out, which was welcomed by us, having the baby and all (it accommodated her morning nap before we headed-out for the day.

We had room-service for dinner as well as breakfast and pretty much enjoyed the room more than we normally would at any other hotel. We were tired and cold front the whale-watching tour in the first day, so we decided to stay and order in rather than go out to eat. We are do glad we did! The food was amazing and I had the best Bison Burger I have ever had with that order! No joke!

Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. Prices for the food were very good, if compared to other restaurants in the area. Great food in the comfort of your room! Who can complain about that?

The bed was super comfortable and the room spotless clean. It was the best night sleep we had in a while. Our baby also did not seem to feel out of place and slept through the night. The crib must have been comfortable too!

The ladies at the front desk on Sunday (PM shift) as well as the bellman on duty were all super friendly as well.

Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We will certainly return and recommend this hotel.

Convenient Location

Short walk to conference centre, restaurants (try Bartholomews Pub next door), entertainment, tourist sites... Rooms are a great size, deep bathtubs, safe, mini fridge, good number of glassware, kettle and coffeemaker. Used the kettle every day for tea and hot water. Coffee maker for hot water just doesn’t cut it so kudos to Marriott for thinking about the small stuff! Small gym, swim pool, hot tub and STEAM ROOM. The sauna was excellent - heated up rapidly to a high temperature. Hot tub needs to be hotter.

Superb Staff

Yes, the location is great, the property in top condition, the food and drink wonderful, but it's the staff, each and every one of them, that make the Marriott Inner Harbour 5 star! Many people to thank, but Sean the Concierge, gets full marks for personality and helpfulness.
It was my opportunity and honour to spend the week with my visiting son, and the Marriott graciously upgraded his room (1314) and amenities, for both our enjoyment. The pool and hot tub, which we used everyday, was refreshing. Lounge for drinks and snacks was well received. And the underground parking with in-out access was handy for when we explored each evening.
100% recommended!

I cannot say more good things about this place. While my wife and I were here to accommodate an adoption, the staff were amazing. For ten days they did everything they could to accommodate a new, very busy toddler, two dogs, two rooms, a mother in law, extra beds, removing furniture, cleaning our room and specific times for us, bribing extra towels, bowls, and even complimentary desserts to celebrate.

I have never been partial to any particular hotel but after his stay will never stay anywhere else in Victoria and will look for a Marriott wherever I go.

Thank you so much to the amazing staff that made us feel at home and cared for while being stuck in a hotel for two weeks

Great Location, Great Hotel

I went to Victoria to visit with my cousin in November and stayed here. The hotel room was clean, modern and roomy, with a lovely King Sized bed that was extremely comfortable. The front desk was friendly and helpful. It was close to the Harbour, but also close to downtown where she lives and where all the shops and restaurants are. Great spot. I can't think of a thing to say wrong about it, Ahh...the main restaurant was closed for renovation so they had a makeshift on set up on the 2nd floor where the meeting rooms and spa are. I did't dine there although I did have the breakfast buffet which was okay.
