Nice respite at the end of a hectic touring week

We booked this stay as part of a package with BC Ferries. I suspect the deal on the suite we stayed in had to do with that package, but I suspect even at full charge the room is worth. it. We had a great view across a quaint neighborhood to the western sunset beyond the harborside hotels. The suite was luxurious, had a fully equipped kitchenette which would be ideal if we were staying for more than a day or two. Very convenient to the historic BC Parliament Building and waterfront district. Breakfast in the bistro was good, although I think we had a new young lady serving us. . . a few points of awkwardness. But no real complaints. Will probably try this place again with a package through the BC Ferries.

Great location, standard accommodations...

This hotel has definitely had renovations in the past few years however based on the price (almost $300CAD/ night to stay here) I expected more in terms of the room itself. These rooms are spacious and have great ‘extras’ like a microwave, kitchen table, etc. The washroom was also great (both tub and standup shower) and was very clean and well stocked. The standard desires, however, were really lacking. It was a hot weekend when we stayed and there was no AC in the room. There was no window or screen door to let in a breeze at night so that made the room pretty stuffy. The carpeted floors also are a bit of a drag and give the room an uncleanly feeling (bring flip flops if you plan to stay here). There is also extremely loud construction happening currently on a building adjacent to the hotel. Also a heads up, you have to pay for parking ($15/night).

In terms of location, 10/10. You are right next to the parliament building and a few steps from the waterfront. The hotel staff were also very kind and there is a cafe for breakfast right next to the lobby. If I came back to Victoria, I would probably look at other accommodation however if you are short on time to book, this hotel is acceptable.

Superb hotel

3 night stay in Victoria this hotel apartment exceeds all expectations it really isn’t a hotel room but a full one bedroom flat/condominium. Great staff friendly and helpful close to harbour and centre of city 10 mins quiet neighbourhood couldn’t have asked for more. Exceptionally clean.
