How to Get There
You will never stay in another hotel like this one. The eclectic decor is almost over the top. Our room was one of the smaller ones (we didn’t have a patio), but it was well appointed, clean, comfortable and functional. Curtains surrounding foot of the bed were a nice touch. The staff is well trained and extremely attentive. Our dinner at the restaurant was superb. (I particularly liked the grilled sardine starter.) The various areas of the property are very nice. A great place for a romantic getaway. I would not bring kids or families here.
My wife and I stayed here at the end of October 2018 and had a lovely time. Their attention to detail was second to none - they knew it was my wife's birthday and presented us with a lovely birthday cake. The room was very nice - smart, modern and big with a small private patio. Their restaurant is very good, with a new small menu selection each day (you pre-order by 6pm that same day). The outdoor swimming pool area set amongst gardens is fantastic, with large 4 poster double bed poolside furniture.
The hotel is totally wonderful The staff are excellent The food superb. I would recommend this to everyone. The setting is unique and each room has its own flare. There is an indoor pool and hot tub and An outdoor pool. The grounds are spectacular with many private and common areas!
This hotel is like none other! On the outside, it looks sort-of like a concrete bunker with lush greenery all around. Rooms are very spacious suites, with very comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, and there was a soak tub in the bedroom! The A/C was very nice and cool and felt great with the heat and humidity outside. Our group had a wine and cheese reception at the hotel's "Wine Pavillion," which was beautiful. Nice swimming pool. Walls in check-in/restaurant area are lined with bookshelves and books, and decor is an eclectic mix of just about anything you could imagine!
We chose this hotel to sleep after our wedding party.
As we are from Ponte de Lima, we wanted to keep the tradition and spend the night of nuptials in a perfect place before our honeymoon.
A contemponarany building and a fine mixed art & modern collectables.
Upon arrival we were greeted at the car park by Mariana who welcomed us with a smile on her face, directed us and helped with luggage.
Spacious room, super comfy bed, huge space in the bathroom, amenities with a shower, and a separate bathtub with a view of the bed.
Decorated with different details (old books, painting, furniture, a work of art).
Breakfast is a la carte. With homemade products from the region such as pao, jams, marmalade, sweet miniatures are made locally by Paula. Item by item, brought to the table.
The lunch was served with a fantastic presentation, a plate full of vivid colors to brighten the view and full of flavor to brighten the taste buds!
Pool with lawn around, and spaces to sew or tan as you read a book or sip a soda. Ideal for families with children, to date, or to relax in a small break from work.
For lovers of wine and equestrian experiences, do not forget to visit this place
I will leave some points to improve, which are in fact small details that do not spoil the overall experience: breakfast should be asked preference on flavours (fruits, musli, selcetion, milk or tee...there are no oats) for a person like me that do not eat bread was unsusual to eat cereals with chocolate...
Small details, anyway definitely 5 Stars,
