What We Love

  • Spectacular setting at the tip of a hilly promontory

  • Sense of going back in time in the sleepy hilltop village of Arcugnano
  • The tranquility of a country retreat coupled with proximity to UNESCO World Heritage town Vicenza

What To Know

  • The pool is large but inside, with a retractable roof; and the decor is unintentionally retro
  • It’s an easy 10-minute drive into central Vicenza, but public transport is scarce
  • The beautiful Berici hills have long been popular with cyclists, but you’ll need to be fit to tackle them
  • Vicenza has been very built up since Palladio’s time – now, the villa’s view includes the industrial outskirts of town
  • Ensure you book your stay to coincide with opening hours at Palladio’s spectacular Villa La Rotonda

  •  Babysitting
  •  Bar
  •  Free WiFi
  •  Handicap Accessible
  •  Parking On Site
  •  Pet-friendly

We went there for a wedding, there are a small and really a gem chapel close the hotel. The drinks and the food at the wedding were great at the first level looking the gardens and then we had the music and dancing down the hotel close the swiming pool. It was fantastic! The decoration is charming and rooms are confortable. You open the windows in the moring and see the country side with a nice view.

Definitely a amazing place for any one who is looking for a wedding venue. Amazing staff, excellent meals, beautiful view. Each room has its own unique style, which I thought was pretty cool. Another thing I thought was pretty awesome was each room provides a cell phone you can use all through Italy free of charge. It is very convenient for people are flying in from another country. For the wedding it was absolutely perfect. They did all they could do to relieve stress from my wife and I. Will definitely return in the future!!!

What a lovely setting

Stayed here with friends - such a lovely setting up on the hill with stunning views all around. Did not stay for dinner but breakfast was excellent with a good variety and wonderful views over the gardens and beyond. Rooms are comfortable although some are a little on the compact side but perfectly comfortable.

Old World charm and elegance

This hidden gem is nestled in the hills surrounding Vicenza, a small city between Milan and Venice. It is really beautiful, and is perched on top of a hill with stunning views. A really peaceful enjoyable stay, very friendly and helpful staff, and well placed to explore the surrounding areas. An excellent buffet breakfast, and free (but very slow!) WiFi. Good variety on the dinner menu, with gourmet selections. Probably not ideal for older children, but wonderful for couples. Excellent English and efficient check in and out.

We stayed here for three nights in late August. The rooms are extremely comfortable. The air-conditioning worked well and was needed! The breakfast had an enormous choice of different things and was very good. The staff were helpful and friendly. The surroundings are beautiful and the place is ideal for a quiet restful holiday with interesting places to visit nearby.
