How to Get There
I have just had a fantastic time at my niece's wedding. The location was beautiful, the room very comfortable and the manager and staff were happy to help in any way they could. I can certainly recommend this hotel. So peaceful and relaxing.
Had an excellent two night stay at the hotel.
We will be returning later in the year.
Great room, stunning views of the City and fantastic welcome.
Breakfast served on the terrace, there was a limited evening meal menu but we close to eat out.
The walk into town is an easy 10 minute stroll downhill but returning is a slightly longer and uphill hence a short taxi ride later in the evening is a more viable option.
Hotel is totally amazing, excellent service, attentive staff and the most wonderful views. So peaceful. The overall experience is wonderful, couldn't reccomend it highly enough. My only reluctance in writing such a glowing review is that we won't get a room next time as there are only 10 available! The downside of the wonderful view is a reasonable climb back up from town, one way of dealing with the excesses ejoyed down in the old town!
We (my wife and I) stayed here the last week in May 2019. The hotel was exceptional, the accommodations, facilities, and amenities were of the highest quality. The location is convenient to Verona (10-15 minutes walk to old town), the setting is idyllic and picturesque, and the view of Verona unparalleled. Best of all were the people who hosted us at this lovely venue, Valentina was extremely helpful and friendly and provided valuable assistance with information about visiting the city, seeing Verona's tourist sites, and commuting to and from the hotel. Shehan, who handles many of the hotel services, has created beautifully landscaped grounds, and also provided fast and pleasant transportation to and from the Verona old town. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Verona largely due to the wonderful folks at Relais Fra Lorenzo! Mr. and Mrs. H.
I recently stayed here for 2 nights and it was very nice.
The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was a good assortment of breads, pastries, juices, yogurts, fruit, cheeses, ham and they will make you fresh eggs as well.
It is definitely not a 10 minute walk from town as the hotel is high up a hill overlooking the city of Verona. Honestly the only way you'd make it down in 10 minutes would be to throw yourself off the side of the hill and roll down. LOL
The offer free outdoor parking.
The drive up to the property is a little crazy with the switchbacks and tailgaters but doable.
Overall, very nice stay.
