How to Get There
We only stayed One night, but its confortable, but the air condition was broken. The service is good. They' re simpatic and the hotel os glamourous. They've candies and sofas. They dont have lift for 4th floor.
In summary, 4 stars.
I stayed here for 1 night while in transit through Soave. The hotel is in a wonderful location; right next to the castle with a great view. I was in a 4th floor room with a spectacular view of the castle. The staff was generally helpful and friendly. The breakfast was reasonable. My room was okay... nothing spectacular, but a decent value given that my rate for the night was excellent. The rooms are large, but the furniture, sheets, etc. are showing their age. Everything was reasonably clean but old.
Free internet was included, and speeds were acceptable. There are several restaurants in walking distance, so convenience was excellent. Overall, a good value choice.
Soave is a great place and from my hotel room I was able to see some towers and parts of the walls surrounding Soave. Nice ! Unfortunately, the room was very dark and cold. No blankets available (and don't say you have to ask the reception ... at 3 a.m. ...) and poor wifi. The receptionist I met when I arrived was extremely rude and arrogant, the one I paid my bill to the next morning was friendly and efficient. Notwithstanding the nice position of the hotel I would not come back here !
Soave is a very atmospheric place to visit, and the Roxy Plaza is perfectly located for so doing. The hotel is still very clean and comfortable, the rooms large and airy but I'm afraid that some of the junior suites really need a little care and attention - sun-damaged curtains, loose wallpaper, scuffed paintwork and pillows that should be consigned to the bin.
On this particular visit we had chosen to book a junior suite. On the first night the bed surround squeaked so much that I was unable to move in order not to wake my husband. In the morning we told reception and eventually they gave us the keys to several other junior suites. We tried most of them until we eventually found a silent bed!
That said, all the staff are kind and seem happy in their work, and the few faults we noted on our tour of the junior suites are easy to correct, which would once more bring this back to being a top hotel.
Breakfast is tasty and there are lots of choices.
We hope to return in the future.
Good location of hotel in Soave witch is a very nice town. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is good with only one remark and that is the quality of the fruitjuice witch is poor. But that is only a detail.
