How to Get There
What a place to stay, just on the canal. A water taxi straight on their private land from airport and the staff were friendly.
Breakfast in the morning were so lovely buffet. Delicious. And the hotel itself is so cozy and comfortable. Only one issue,it was an anniversary and the room was booked for couple, didn’t like the twin bed, it should have been a double bed but we didn’t use another twin bed at all, cold night and anniversary, even a single bed was big for us😜.
Fab. we love this hotel.
We stayed here for 2 nights and it was perfect for us! We were in the annex building which was a little bit away from the main hotel but we weren't bothered. It did have quite a small elevator so may be a trouble for some people depending on how many bags they have. The room its self was lovely and there was tea and coffee facilities as well as a fridge and minibar. The bathroom was really nice and clean and the shower was amazing! Great location and perfect as a base to explore Venice! Staff were super lovely and stored our bags for us after we checked out as we had a late train. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we would stay here again.
We started our 12-day Italy trip in Venice at the beautiful Liassidi Palace. We were greeted by overly-nice bellhops who helped us off the boat and into the building. The ambience inside was upscale yet homey, which was perfect for our first few days settling into the country.
We spent the nights in the hotel bar where we were spoiled by both Matteo and Gonzalo who poured some of the best drinks we had in Italy! Their company and conversation was enough to make us never want to leave--and we didn't. They had to kick us out when they closed! Thanks for the amazing stay, Liassidi!
From the minute we walked in off the private dock to Liassidi Palace we were so impressed. Help with our bags from the water taxi, excellent reception greeting. We were a little early for check-in so they let us leave our bags, they gave us a map and we went exploring. This hotel is literally less than a 10 minute walk from St Mark's Square and in the opposite direction the Rialto Bridge. Right across the street there are multiple little restaurants and tourist shops. We had a crepe and sandwich for breakfast at a little place right next door and it was delicious. Our room was phenomenal! There was no balcony but all the windows opened and it was amazing looking out onto their own canal. If ever in Venice I highly recommend this hotel!
My family & I stayed at the Liassidi Palace Hotel for 5 nights while in Venice and every single adventure started with us at the bar with our favorite bartender. Gonzalo provided the most extraordinary service!! He was super friendly, funny, and genuinely intrigued about learning about the culture in the Virgin Islands. And of course, his drinks were amazing!!! Even if you don't drink alcohol, he could whip you up a great mocktail or expresso. We always had such a great time there. He even stayed open late for us a few times! He also recommended some great places to dine and activities including taking the water bus over to the local side of town which is much more quiet but gave us a feel of the Venice everyone doesn't get to see which ended up being our favorite part of the trip. It was such an awesome experience and it wouldn't have been the same without meeting Gonzalo! I highly recommend stopping in to have a drink with him.
