The majestic city of Venice hardly needs any introduction. If you haven’t been before, you simply must and if you have, then this is a great excuse to go back. The city’s dizzyingly labyrinthine streets hide enough gems to justify a lifetime’s exploration. This combined with its mild climate and rich heritage at the crossroads of Mediterranean and Asian culture makes it the perfect city break destination.
You’ll be perfectly placed to take in the opulence of this city at the grandiose Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal. Oozing with Venetian glamour, you’ll be staying in one of the best spots in town, right on the water of the iconic Grand Canal.
Inside, you’ll find interiors adorned with Italian stuccoes, extravagant Murano glass chandeliers and elaborate furnishings. With high ceilings, open spaces and classic décor, it’s the perfect place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing in this phenomenal city.
Live la dolce vita in your Superior room, where the décor is elegant and tasteful with a touch of Baroque styling. At 24 square metres, these rooms are spacious and comfortable, and feature a lavish Italian marble bathroom.
Retire to the Grand Canal restaurant for an excellent meal with a beautiful view of the Grand Canal. Tradition and innovation are the driving forces here, so you can expect stunning local Venetian dishes with a focus on seafood and the freshest of vegetables.
Venice must be seen to be believed and situated on the Grand Canal, you have a waterside view of the splendid city. There is no more luxurious way to explore what’s on your doorstep then by jumping in a gondola and venturing onto the famous canals.
How to Get There
We love this hotel, sitting as it does at the entrance to the grand canal. The staff are so obliging and the food is fantastic, eating on the terrace with the gondola's bobbing up and down its magical
Great view, great rooms, nice service.
Close to all the important places.
Rooms are expensive but worth the price.
Walking distance from San Marco Square.
Very good breakfast,nice verity.
On our girls holiday we always dine at the Hotel Monaco. We are well looked after and over the years have built up a warm relationship with the staff. The food is always excellent and to sit by the canal watching the gondoliers coming and going is always fascinating. If the outside restaurant is full enjoy a cocktail i am sure they will find you a space!
