Great hotel, staff, food and location
Reviewed 2 days ago

Stayed two nights whilst exploring Venice. The location is so good - minutes walk from all the main attractions yet peaceful as it's tucked away from the busy streets.

The hotel was beautiful inside and it didn't feel too busy. We could always get the lift and gain attention of reception immediately. Breakfast was also relaxed and not too many people arriving at once.

The breakfasts we had were excellent with continental and cooked breakfast on offer.

Service throughout the hotel was excellent. I will write a separate review about the hotels restaurant that we visited in the evening but needless to say the food and service was outstanding.

Beautiful hotel

Lovely and peaceful, five minutes walk from the Rialto bridge but away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely staff very helpful and friendly, the room we had was very comfortable, lovely big bathroom. This was a surprise trip and the hotel had left us a cooled bottle of prosecco in our room as a gift and the 'maid' left chocolates every night.

Simply perfect!

We have just returned from a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Ai Reali. I highly commend this beautiful hotel and their employees who all ensured our stay was ;just perfect'. The hotel itself is fantastically located just a few minutes walk from Rialto Bridge and Rialto pier. It is very easy to find. It is right in the heart of Venice in a quiet courtyard where you can escape the crowds or join them in the winding alleys leading to St Marco Square a few minutes away. The hotel itself is stunning. each and every staff member are attentive, polite and extremely helpful. If you ever have a question, need assistance or want to order something to the room they are so very quick to serve you. The terrace area serves wonderful platters of fresh food and a very decent glass of Prosecco or Spritz (or whatever your tipple is). The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, we chose the junior suite facing the canal and I loved waking up to the peaceful sounds of the Canal. It was not noisy at all and it was so nice to open the shutters and see gondolas drifting down the waterway. A special mention must also go to Monica and Andrea you are private tour guides which Hotel Ai Reali booked for our stay. I 100% recommend them, Monica for the 'Hidden Venice Tour' and Andrea for his tour of St Mark Sq. Having a private tour was a very special experience which I much preferred to the group walking tours I had also arranged. I cannot recommend their tours enough - they are so interesting and delivered with great passion and education. Thank you to Ai Reali front desk for organising these brilliant tours for us as well as the private gondola ride. They made Venice come alive with stories, historical facts and beautiful sights. If we return to Venice, which I hope we will, I will only ever choose to stay at the Ai Reali!

Lovely hotel

As you might expect, you receive what you pay for. This hotel is not cheap but the quality and level of service together with the location justify the price.

The rooms are well furnished and the air conditioning excellent. The location is perfect near the Rialto bridge and not far from St. Marks Square.

The breakfast is good and not too busy, at least when we were there.

If you want a superior hotel in Venice, try this one. You will not be disappointed.

A typical SLH hotel with great location AND a wonderful team
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I normally always check the SLH hôtels alternative when I travel as I am sure to get a minimum quality standard that I would be pleased with... only this time when I checked pricing, the hotel had a better price via booking rather than SLH. Although I didn t book via SLH, the hotel applied my SLH benefits, which was a great start and a good sign of the hotel teams and services. Basically, the hotel has a great location as it is barely 200m from the rialto bridge, suites are really nice and not overpriced, but the competitive advantages of this hotel is the team, restaurant, spa, and especially at the front desk... they have been of such great help, with advices, booking of boats, restaurants etc... they are simply awesome!
