Quiet location, a great hotel nestled in a less touristy neighborhood. The rooms are really well finished. The bed is very comfortable. Everything is really clean. The front desk people are friendly. This hotel has a lot going for it. Good showers are a huge plus for me. The water pressure was amazing and a big tub. Tall people friendly!

We had a wonderful stay here. The place has a charm and a lovely Venetian character too. We were made very welcome by the staff who were all extremely friendly. The room was beautiful, very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was great with a good selection of sweet and savoury items. Contrary to some other reviews, coffee was excellent. There are two types of coffee available, American and Italian. Go for the Italian, it’s great. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Wonderful stay, beautiful, clean hotel, staff exceptionally helpful. We were here on a 4 night trip - taking in Venice, a trip to Padova, and Murano Island. The hotel is within walking distance of everything you need, but the beauty of it is the location, which is along a pretty peaceful canal, a few streets away from restaurants and shops. It felt chilled and relaxed - and made for a really relaxing stay, when so much of the rest of Venice is busy.

What a beautiful little gem this place is. We have just returned from 2 nights away at this hotel and was blown away by its elegance. The hotel itself is immaculate, the staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Breakfast was worth the €15 extra each, with a lovely spread that would fill you up before a day of exploring. The decor in our room was just stunning. The bed was super comfy and the complimentary bottles of water each day was a lovely little touch. We took full advantage of the complimentary trip by private water taxi to Murano island to the glass factory. Well worth the trip! We found the location perfect. It’s 5 minute walk from Madonna dell orto which you can get the water taxi straight from the airport to and takes about 20 minutes for €27 round trip. The hotel is set in a quiet residential area, but is only 7 minute walk from the busier streets, 15-20 minutes from Rialto Bridge and 30 minutes from San Marco. Or if you don’t like walking too much, you can jump on the ACTV water taxi from Madonna for next to nothing to any location. This is a stunning hotel in just the right location! It’s a must!

What a lucky choice. As we were checking in guests were saying to us how great it was! Very quiet rooms, excellent decoration and quality. Slept better than I do at home. Location was perfect for us, got the water bus from airport to Madonna del’orto ( first stop) and five minute walk to hotel. All staff were excellent and very helpful, useful run down of where to go if needed and how to get there. Breakfast was a great start to the day, 25 minute walk to St Marks Square but so much to see it will take you longer😆. I think the time we chose to go was also great, never really queued for anything and able to take lots of pictures etc. Top tip, buy a day pass for Vaporreto water buses one day €25pp, go to Murano, Burano ( route 12)and back to St Marks square, we then got another around the grand canal ( circular trip on route 2) get off at Casino for 10 min walk back to hotel, great day great location.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. We had a superior room which was huge. Lovely breakfast. Hotel in a quiet area with some really nice restaurants around within 5 min walk. It is approximately 20 min walk to the centre of Venice, a pleasant walk. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

Beautiful room, lovely varied breakfast but the coffee is terrible! Helpful friendly staff would definitely recommend this hotel. It is 20-25 min walk to the main drag but it’s a pleasant walk. The bar ran out of amaretto after our first eve which was a shame and was a nice nightcap..

Firstly this hotel is in a great location for: Water Taxi from the Airport, it’s the first stop on the orange line at Madonna Della Orto, about 20 minutes on the public water taxi from the airport (27 euro return) and the stop is only 2/3 minutes from the hotel. This is very useful with lots of luggage! It is also in a great location to access the train station if you plan any day trips (we went to Verona for the day on the train which I would recommend if you are staying more than 1 or 2 days). The train station is a 15 minute walk. The only slight downside is you are 15 minutes walk from Riato Bridge and approximately 25 minutes walk from St Marc’s Square. However this does mean that the restaurants in the 5-10 minute location are more reasonable. There is also a banging Spar supermarket 5 mins away for supplies. The staff are great, very helpful and are usually dressed up (see pictures) They were happy to help and answer any questions and provide advice. The rooms are very spacious which is great and they provide a bottle of water each day you are there. The beds massive and the rooms are very clean and cosy! The hotel also provided us with a free water taxi excursion to Murano which included a tour of a glass factory, I was sceptical there might be a catch but there was not and would highly recommend. The my explain the taxi is one way so you have to make your own way back but we decided to get a day ticket at 25 euros and visit Burano (again would highly recommend) are even Lido if you wanted to. They also offer other trips which we just didn’t have time for We didn’t eat or drink at the hotel, the price point of the breakfast at 15 euros per person was just a tad too high and there were plenty of local bars nearby rather than drink at the hotel There is a tourist tax to pay at the end of the trip which must be 4.5 euros per person per day as we were charged 36 euros All in all a very pleasant experience and would not hesitate recommending this as a base for a trip to explore Venice Grazie.
