How to Get There
I had a two night stay last week. It was everything I'd hoped for. The air conditioning was very much needed. The room was clean and quiet with a great view of the garden and the Grand Canal. The bed was comfortable. I rarely sleep well in hotels, but I did here. The buffet breakfast has plenty of choice. The staff were courteous, helpful, and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The garden overlooking the canal is a great place to unwind and relax. It was great to sit and watch the boats pass by while sitting with an ice-cold drink. I think that might've been my favourite part!
If I ever get the chance to go back to Venice, I'd go back to this hotel in a heartbeat. It has an understated elegance that you'd never find in a chain hotel. It just is...without trying too hard.
Fabulous spot to take a morning espresso. Friendly, affordable service even if you’re not staying there. Great view of canal life from outdoor patio. I cannot comment on the hotel, but the gardens, breakfast, and service were nice and easy going. Not overrun with tourists, either.
This was our second time visiting Ca'Nigra and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Ground floor room this time facing the garden with a side view of a canal. Beautiful location to sit in the garden for either breakfast or in to have a spritz. We preferred Prosecco.
The gondola ride around the block if you will is a great experience. Ask the front desk, they make a phone call & then you are picked up from their own interior boat dock. Also where the taxi drops you off and picks you up. Also a 5 minute walk to the train station across the Grand Canal
When we return to Venice, we are sure to stay at Ca'Nigra again.
We love this hotel! Beautiful setting, a garden where you can have breakfast next to the grand canale, rooms are gorgeous and very friendly staff. If we ever visit Venice again, we will come back here
A very nice little hotel with descend luxury and an breathtaking view of Canale Grande. Conveniently located two stations from Piazzale Roma with Vaporetto 1 or a 10 min. Walk it ist the ideal base for any venture you might plan. A friendly stuff and spacious rooms with parts of antique interior make it alway the place to be for us when taking a tour to Venice.
