How to Get There
The hotel is bestowed with a service-minded staff, who ensures a great atmosphere and are always ready to give guests a good experience. The hotel itself is an architectural beauty, with a beautiful lobby bar on the first floor, which has a stunning view of the Mont Blanc. There is an even more beautiful restaurant on the second floor that serves delicious food with a fine selection of regional wines, which you cannot miss. The rooms have unique designs, and they are clean as a whistle. Special thanks' to Marina and co. for ensuring me a wonderful stay, and really making me feel at home in my solitude. I would come back to Courmayeur only to stay at this wonderful hotel. Highly recommended.
Stayed here for 2 nights a couple of weeks ago. My first impression was that the hotel was nice and modern. It is a little out of town however, so a walk to any restaurants & bars. The hotel do operate a complimentary and regular bus shuttle which takes you to both sets of cable cars up to the top of the mountain which i found very efficient. I called the hotel one day on my way back down the mountain and they were there ready to collect me!
Our room was perfectly comfortable with a nice balcony and plenty of storage (i hate having to leave a suitcase on display and the wardrobe was deep enough for this). We did have trouble keeping the shower hot enough though and from speaking to friends also in the hotel they too had the same problem. Housekeeping was perhaps not quite as good as what I would expect from a 5 * but for a 2 day stay I could live with it. I will say though that suprisingly over the 3 days we were there, at no point were there any hand towels in the restaurant toilets!
Breakfast had plenty of selection but i don't think it was anything special. Fruit had gone brown and the food in general not great, fruit juices and bottled water both mornings had run out. We ate in the hotel on our first night (La Fourchette) it was a set menu for our large group which was ok.
The spa is a really nice feature of the hotel and worth using after a days skiing. The hotel was quite quiet when we were there so we had it pretty much to ourselves (i think normally they operate on a booking basis).
There is a ski shop onsite too if you have forgotten anything! All in all, a nice and pleasant stay but not quite sure it hits the 5* ranking.
Fabulous stay. Gorgeous hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. Close enough to walk down into the centre - about 10 mins but something of an incline on the way back. Good excuse for another Aperol! The courtesy bus was a godsend and all the drivers were so friendly. Food was delicious for breakfast and we also had an amazing dinner on the first night as the snow was coming down and we just wanted to stay indoors. Suffice to say it was fab. We had a pre dinner drink in the bar which was great - basically acted as a starter with all the accompaniments. The only thing I’d change was some tea/coffee making facilities in the room and a bath alongside the shower. Although the gorgeous pool/spa did the trick after skiing. Thoroughly recommend.
We stayed three nights in mid March and were really happy about the hotel. We didn’t have any expectations but the place was really nice, clean and got us on a good mood.
We got upgraded to Junior Suite, which was extremely nice and big. Great views to the mountains. Room for clothes, big shower/toilet room. We slept well!
Beautiful American bar with cosy sofas and fireplace. A bit pricy drinks but it included tasty snacks and we went here every night before heading to dinner.
Spa area with saunas was amazing! Small pool, but really relaxing saunas after a long day full of skiing.
The hotel was kind enough to listen to my criticism and was nothing but kind for the rest of the stay. Thank you for the effort. They even found apples for the spa when someone had taken them all. Very nice pool and spa
