The Lowdown

Located at the foot of the imposing Mont Blanc, the Grand Hotel Courmayeur Mont Blanc is a jewel in the crown of the Italian Alps. With access to some of the most breathtaking ski slopes and alpine scenery in the world, guests will marvel at the snow-dusted, picture-postcard setting.

Amazing hotel, 5 stars are not enough!

I stayed at this hotel for long weekend in a Junior Suite, offered as upgrade for free.
The hotel is beautiful, clean, amazing.
Staff is nice and service is impeccable from any point of view.
The spa is amazing and the breakfast is excellent.
Full luxury.
I recommend this hotel for couples and families, you can’t ask more.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days .The building is modern , but not nice . Since i arrived i felt regret to had booked the hotel . Awful and cold lobby .
It's out of town , you have to walk at least 10 minutes freezing or wait for the complimentary shuttle ( after 6 pm , they change , for the shuttle ) . One day we requested the shuttle to pick us up after the sky , and they forgot . We waited for more than 30 min and had to call the hotel . Nobody was coming , they forgot our request .Find a taxi in this city is a nightmare , so you need the shuttle .We booked a suite for 800 euros , very simple and the view not special , not really comfortable . The front desk staff is Concierge as well , for sure doesn't work . So you have to find everything by yourself .The night in this hotel is depressing , you have to walk to the city . The bar and restaurant are not Better go to the town .The spa and fitness , ok . My friend stayed at the Golf hotel , hundred times better , located in the main street , with a nice garden with heaters during the happy hour , nice restaurant . The service is 3 stars hotel as well . The hotel manager must have to go to Cristallo Hotel in Cortina D Ampezzo , to know what means a 5 star property and service .Stay in another hotel .There are many at the city center , less expensive and better for sure .

My wife and I booked this hotel just by chance and did not hesitate extending our stay. Having traveled to more than 50 countries and hundreds of hotels, this hotel rates as the number One. Everything has been perfect, the reception, fulfillment of special wishes (they only practice “yes”), the breakfast, the hotel upkeep, the rooms, the views (absolutely magnificent).
All staff members have been Great. Our experience with Marina Coco (I think she is part of the management) and Azeri Loris at reception in the evening were simply perfect. Congratulations on the training program they undertake.
A Wonderful experience and one we will come back to very soon.
