How to Get There
Nice hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful.
A little hard to find when taking the bus from the train station - a block off the main street and around the corner.
It is in the suburbs - not obvious when booking. But Metro and bus service is good,
Didn't do the breakfast - just eat too much.
Friendly staff, room got cleaned spotless every day. The hotelroom had a nice view, even though i did not ask for this. I got the cheapest room, but it was still very large with a nice view. The picture is the view from my room.
The hotel we stayed in was great. We booked for 5 days. It was a lovely place , there was a gym close, spa and a supermarket.
Also The rooms were very clean, the only thing i missed was a kettle in the room and unfortunaly the swimming pool was closed , you have to take a look good , because it depends on the season!
The reception were friendly and nice.
Further we got the pleasure of meeting the staff. They were really nice too us and provided us with a lot of information.
Especially Achraf who was in the restaurant part. He gave us al the information we needed and the accomadations the hotel offered. With his colleagues xavier and nicasio we had a great time talking.
We will definitly come back to this hotel. We had a great stay.
For xavier , wishing you a lovely wedding and Achraf, we will come back. Thankyou for the service and help!
The attention of the service staff in the hotel was really great as well as the comfort and all the facilities of the property. Also the location was not bad. It is one hundred meters from the Metro and the bus stop. There are many restaurants and cafes in the vicinity.
The room was spacious, clean and elegantly decorated.
In other words a lot of value for the money!
The next time I visit Valencia I will try to stay at this hotel again.
My adult wheelchair user son and I spent a week at Ilunion 4. I chose the hotel as they offered disabled friendly accomodation. We found from checkin to checkout that the staff were helpful, friendly and able to offer advice on finding places such as bus stops. Reception staff spoke good English and have us maps. Breakfasts had a good selection of continental food and I enjoyed the scrambled eggs, other hot dishes geared to Spanish tastes rather than my own. The hotel gave us Breakfast Bags to take with is when we had to depart before breakfast on our final morning. Rooms were kept spotless, tea, coffee and kettle plus daily water in fridge much appreciated. Oir accessible room was large with excellent adapted batheroom - well a walk in shower rather than a bath. There was one king sized bed. Being mum and son, we didn't want to share a bed and the hotel offered to add an extra bed into the room but we decided a pile of pillows could be used to seperate the bed in half. There was plenty of turning space.I loved having a glass of detox water when we arrived back at the hotel after our daily outings. The hotel,is sited opposite the buildings of the City of Arts and ascience and next door to a shopping centre with restaurants. A walk through the gardens into the city centre was a change from the walk through city streets you usually have to do when staying in a city. My son is not easily pleased but even he says this was an excellent and interesting holiday! This hotel group is an excellent choice for disabled people (oringinally Confortel, We stayed in one of their properties many years ago) and 40 percent of their staff are disbabled in some way. That said, this was a slick 4 star city hotel and guests ranged from businessmen to families.
The only thing I would change is the large artworks. Water themed, some are well worn with corners broken off and canvas peeling. Althoigh not water-themed, perhaps large canvases of the amazing Spinosaurus Science Museum and surrounding architecture could be hung - you can even have some of my photos if you like! (Trip advisor is not letting me click on the star ratings but I'd give five stars theoughout).
