Just As Nice the 2ND Time

We came back because we recalled how beautiful the grounds were and friendly to the staff. Nothing has changed. The room is clean and well decorated, the location perfect and easy to walk to the park, the grounds lovingly cared for and the pool and sauna area were wonderful after a long day of hiking. The other guests were all friendly and thoughtful as well.

Great hotel and location!

Loved the garden detail and really enjoyed lounging in the pool area. Clean rooms and great receptionists that are willing to share some of their favorite things to see and do in Zion. Very walkable location and you gotta try the cafe next door. Its great!

Great place to stay

We recently stayed at Cliffrose on our family trip out west. Our car brake line was punctured and we needed to get it serviced. The friendly desk clerks not only told us where to go they also let us check in early and do some laundry. My youngest child went to the pool while I did laundry. We couldn’t have asked for nicer people to help us.
We loved the accommodations. The rooms had plenty of space. The pools were big and riding on the rafts on the river behind the property was super fun. Thank you again to Boston and his front desk partner for helping us out!

Beautiful grounds and perfect location

The beautifully landscaped grounds at this motel, with the Zion backdrop make for a perfect setting. The close walk into the national park (5-10 minutes to the park shuttle, depending on how fast you walk) make for the perfect home base. The kids enjoyed playing in the Virgin River which ran alongside the property. There were also kids from across the river (staying at the campground) that were playing at times as well, but it was always peaceful and not crowded. There was construction going on next to the pool, which was a bit noisy and dusty at times. If I had known that the construction was going to be happening, I probably would have stayed elsewhere, as we spend a good bit of time at the pool with our kids. Except for the construction, the pool area was very nice and never crowded. There is also another outdoor small pool/spa area which is reserved for adults which we did not go to. The room itself was very clean and well maintained. There was no tub however, just a large shower. We had a double Queen with sofa pullout, facing the river. The room was a bit on the smaller size, with not much room to move around once the sofa was pulled out. We were on the first floor, which was nice because we could exit straight from our room, out onto very small patio and then to the river/walk to Zion etc. The sprinklers seemed to go on every early morning, just as I wanted to enjoy my coffee on the patio however, and the water kept hitting me, which made it a bit difficult to enjoy patio/coffee in the am. The people staying above us did a lot of walking around also, so I would opt for second floor next time for these reasons. Our room did not have a microwave (which is a must for us as a family of 5 for a 4 night stay, to heat up leftovers and a quick breakfast sandwich in the am before heading out). I called the front desk to see if it would be possible for them to bring us one and they were very nice and had maintenance bring us one to use during our stay. Overall we loved the place and I would recommend staying here. If it weren't for the construction and the small size of the room/patio, I would have given 5 stars.

An unforgettable experience

Very comfortable hotel with style and delightful touches throughout. The facilities are well manicured and simply awesome and the river in the back with a ‘beach’ is a gem for families. Walkable to everything including restaurants, convenience markets, and Zion National Park. Dramatic and breathtaking views drape over the backdrop to the hotel forcing you to stare at its awesome glory, especially as the sun glimmers across its imposing stone face. You won’t forget your stay here.
