Don’t forget to bring your sunglasses: you’re sure to be dazzled by the first sight of this southwest oasis, with its red rock desert landscapes, endless blue sky and emerald-green golf courses. Set inside a tony gated community, the resort consists of one- to four-bedroom adobe casitas designed to harmonize with the surrounding scenery: soothing earthy tones inside continue the theme. The spa offers a range of exotic treatments – try the Desert Moon pedicure with coconut milk and chicory root – and even caters to kids (guests can also arrange for private trainers, tai chi sessions and guided hiking through the fitness center and spa.) The Kokopelli Restaurant & Lounge, meanwhile, overlooks the golf course and offers homey fare like halibut fish and chips, cheeseburgers and steaks.
In the Area
Take the family to see a show under the stars at the Tuacahn Outdoor Theatre, a 1900-seater amphitheater that hosts a roster of rollicking musicals and Broadway favorites. Appreciate Utah’s unique brand of beauty at Snow Canyon State Park, right on the inn’s doorstep – you can explore the canyons, lava flows and Najavo red sandstone formations by foot, horseback or mountain bike. About an hour away, you’ll find Zion National Park, offering equally spirit-lifting scenery: think multi-hued sandstone cliffs, slot canyons and abundant wildlife.
How to Get There
From the moment we arrived at the Inn at Entrada we were warmly welcomed and given great recommendations for our stay. Our room was perfect with a waterfall, amazing views of the golf course, mountains and even a beautiful white swan. The staff was friendly, authentic and very responsive to any request. It was such a refreshing stay filled with hiking, best dining, golf and work outs. I would give this a 5 star.
We stay at the "Inn" often. A beautiful setting with spectacular vistas, including magnificent views of the red rocks. Whether staying in a studio or larger unit, the views are serene and peaceful. And, the staff is wonderful! Tim, the manager, always welcomes us by name - as do the Front Desk personnel - Shelby, Lisa, Danielle, Casey, Erica. We can't say enough about the hospitality and graciousness of everyone at the Inn. Be sure to also dine at the restaurant. The staff there is also welcoming - Heather, LaRae, Shaun, Angelique - to name a few who always are gracious.
The inn is an amazing place, i missed only the steam cabin and sauna from the SPA. Everything else was just wonderful, the staff the huge room with the fireplace. Barhroom we loved it very much, great jakuzzi.
The photos do not do justice to this property. Every way you turn is a view of mother nature’s handiwork. We stayed at The Inn at Entrada for a trip to snow canyon and Zion, great location. Even had a few visitors from the fowl committee welcome us on the patio.
We enjoyed the jacuzzi bathtub after a day of hiking. We prepared our dinner at the studio so we could eat on the patio and enjoy the scenery
This is a really nice property. A few things would make it even better. We stayed in a studio casita. It could really use a table between the chairs in the living area. We had to put our drinks on the ottoman that was provided ( not very flat or sturdy). There is not a dresser with drawers for putting your clothes in and only a few hangers in the closet. If you are staying for any length of time that would have been handy. They need to replace the pillows, at least in our unit. The shades in the unit are not blackout...so it gets very bright in the room early even with the shades closed.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Be sure to ask for any specials when you call to reserve. None are listed on their website. I found out after our arrival that there would have been a considerable discount if we would have added 2 more days to our stay.
The studio casita was perfect for 2 people. It was very quiet. I am not sure this is a good place for kids...not much to do there and seems adult oriented.
We would return in a heartbeat...a really nice place.
