Superb Stay - extremely comfortable

Superb hotel. Located a little distant from the Old Town but has access to €5 set taxi fare to city so not really an issue. Hotel very modern, very comfortable, excellent maintenance and really well fitted. Suite very comfortable - on 14th floor. Lovely view of Alps, lovely comfortable bed and really powerful shower. Breakfast spread was delicious. Very impressed with this stay and would be delighted to return again. All staff excellent and very kind / helpful. A wonderful place to spend a weekend in Slovenia.

Very good hotel

This hotel is easy to find, located outside of the center of Ljubljana, but it's a part of big shopping centre. There are public buses to the center of the town. There are even nice restaurants, fast food, cafe bars and big fruit and vegetable market nearby. The staff at the reception desk and room maids are very friendly and helpful. But this is not always so at the breakfast room. Rooms are big, comfortable and clean. We got the room without ironing board and iron, without slippers or bathrobe that I saw on some pictures and that can be expected for 4 star hotel. The window can't be opened, but we don't mind as we can turn-on or -off the air-condition. There is even a nice fitness room on the top of the hotel with a nice view. Breakfast is very rich for all tastes and diets. Sometimes you have to wait for bread, cheese or something else. It happens because the hotel is really big, there are sometimes big groups and the staff has no time to fill the food. But waiting 10 minutes for the fresh baked bread is really worth. Nearby hotel is a big water center with a pools, the hotel offers a discount for a ticket, but we didn't have time to use it. There is a garage in the basement of the hotel with a charge. Or you can leave the car somewhere nearby around the shopping centre, for free. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Was better

I’ve been staying at this hotel many times during the years always being very satisfied. I am sorry to say that this time I was quite disappointed. There has been quite a consistent price increase (almost 100 euro more than the same period in 2018) not justified by better services - on the contrary quality has slightly dropped.

We got upgraded to a Junior Suite (still wondering why) and honestly would have preferred the regular one. No shower but bathtub with a very poorly fixed sliding bar and water continuousily changing temperature by itself. Room was clean but not immaculate as I’ve found some hair in the bathroom. In the room we have found 2 bottles of water only for Radisson members (!!) and bath amenities for 1 person despite us being 2. And yes, you can’t change room temperature, there's only 1 pillow per person and TV is not in front of the bed but in a silly position you have to turn your neck almost 90 degrees.

Breakfast: super crowded with big tour groups, mainly Asian, and food struggling to be replaced. I had to ask the Staff and wait 10 min to get something to eat, as there was nothing left. I have never worked in a hotel, but think that - especially during peak times and with so much people - you should replenish food BEFORE it ends to guarantee coverage on a continue basis.

A hotel of this kind, for the price requested should provide better and more.
For me not good value for money - not anymore.

Great place to stay

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. It’s not right in the centre but is next door to the biggest shopping mall in Slovenija which has everything you could need including a massive Interspar supermarket. The hotel is very modern and nicely equipped with a decent bar and nice comfortable lounge area. We got upgraded to a junior suite which was very nice for a longer stay. Breakfast is quite extensive with plenty of fresh fruit, cheeses and meats and even a few hot items. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Hotel has a great deal with a local taxi firm who will shuttle you in and out of the old town for €5 each way. They also offer a taxi service to the airport for €25. We didn’t realise this on arrival and got stung for €65 using an airport cab. Worth trying to use the hotel taxi if you can pre arrange! Definitely recommend

We stayed here passing through Eastern Europe. We found the hotel in very satisfactory condition. The rooms were very new and updated. Bathrooms were great.
Their food selection was excellent and staff fairly friendly. I would recommended
