Comfortable and clean

Stayed for three nights. Our room was at the rear of the hotel with an unattractive view however the room was large, the bed was comfortable, pillows too soft but that is personal thing and a nice clean bathroom. Enough floor space to store two large suitcases and hand luggage. Only soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom, so we used our own block soap. This is a modern looking hotel in close proximity to a great bar(a few minutes walk and recommended by the American reviewer Rick Steve, and some restaurants. The walk into the main part of Bled takes less than ten minutes and provides pleasant views of the lake. Check in/check out was speedy and efficient. My wife asked for a hand held hair dryer as the one in the bathroom was useless. No problem with the new model. There is a large breakfast buffet with enough choices to keep you occupied. There is also a very friendly cat which seems to occupy the front patio.

Very nice Hotel and great location

Spent the night in this wonderful hotel. Very clean, affordable, and mostly polite staff. We had the buffett dinner which was fair, but the breakfast was very nice and a good send off. The location is superb. 3 minute walk to the lake and 15 minute walk to the castle. I was a little dissapointed with the appearance of the room. It was a bit bland. Also, the shower would not drain. Otherwise, a solud room and we woukd stay there again.

Ok but underwhelming

Overall we found this place fine and it was good value for the location. Breakfast was also ok.

However, I booked a superior room requesting a lake view but was given a room overlooking the wellness area at the back. We were greeted by a hole in the duvet and each morning the maid barged in the room whilst knocking (rather than knocking first...awkward!)
