How to Get There
Stayed as a family of 4 in August 2019. Two lads 21 & 24 with our folks. My father had paid for the rooms beforehand and on arrival the abrupt lady on reception was adamant rooms hadn't been paid in advance (she didn't check for a while). After a minute or 2 the lady checked and yes rooms paid for. Next came breakfast, "you don't have breakfast included". She then checked the screen and yes breakfast included and pre-paid. This is a real shame as it put a downer on what was a very nice hotel. The rooms were lovely. Large, spotlessly clean with a powerful shower and comfortable bed. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and the location is great. The blonde lady on reception the following day was very polite and helpful.
We stayed at ViVadi 89 Sept. 1-9th. Negatives:
The pillows on the bed are too soft and flimsy. When I asked for a medium or harder pillow they said it does not exist in their hotel. I also needed a nail file- They do not have a basic nail file at the hotel. Last night my boyfriend was poisoned with the fish at the Italian restaurant. The receptionist is constantly on the phone she is unable to help customers with advice or directions. It it a mediocre hotel good for a one night stay not more.
Positives: Nice breakfast, cleaning staff was excellent, room service was quick. I personally would never stay at Viviadi 89 again.
Thankfully, I was able to check in around noon on my arrival date. The employee who checked me in is very pleasant and friendly. She answered questions and gave recommendations with a smile. In my room, the bed was comfortable. The shower was nice. Having a room along the side of the building was a bonus. There's a tram right outside the hotel and various restaurants nearby. The main train station isn't too far a walk and for that convenience, I was appreciative.
The only negatives were that my room wasn't well cleaned (the bed was partially made and the amenities had already been opened/used by previous guests). Also, there was a night employee at the front desk who spent her time flirting with and being too physically close to the bar/restaurant employees. I can't say it was professional and I found that strange.
