Great Experience!
Reviewed 2 days ago

My family and I recently went on vacation in Europe and we went to a new city nearly each day. This means we stayed in new hotels almost nightly. Having said this, Residence Inn Munich City East was by far the best. The staff, especially Henrik, was very helpful and patient with us. The hotel is also very near the U and S station so travelling downtown was easy. Breakfast was also very good.

Nice place for an extended stay

So tell with good size rooms, a pretty good restaurant, a very good bar and a great staff!

The shower/bat tub is a bit weird to get into but not a big deal. Close to bus and train station and a short drive to all sorts of museums and more!

Double Charged
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

After a lovely stay at the residence inn hotel, I was told that a payment hasn't been received and a charge will be made on my credit card. I showed the receptionist prove that a payment was made prior to my trip and yet I a charged was made again for my stay. Can you provide me with an email address where I send a copy of proof of both payments made to my account.

Very good hotel. Service is great, especially if you’re coming for business. View is not so nice, but everything else is awesome! You should pick it up, that’s for sure. Breakfast is very nice, a lot of different food!

Reliable hotel choice in Munich
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

My family spent 3 nights at the Residence Inn Munich City East and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is a Marriott branded property, so you know what to expect. They delivered on that expectation.

The hotel is very nice, with good sized rooms, nice bathrooms, a very good breakfast buffet, and friendly service.

There is a parking garage in the basement of the hotel, so it is convenient if you have a car to park.

The hotel is outside the city center and is a short walk to the Ostbahnhof Station so you have easy access to anywhere in the city in a few stops.

The area itself is not terribly interesting, but there are a few restaurant choices nearby. We felt safe walking back and forth from the train station even late at night.

Normally we prefer to stay in the city center, but the easy access to the train, the parking garage, the quality of the hotel, and a very favorable rate made the Residence Inn Munich City East a good choice for us.
