With a “lean luxury” philosophy that puts simplicity and laid-back comfort at its core, the newly-opened Ruby Lilly Hotel Munich offers the sort of accessible yet upscale city accommodation you’ve only ever dreamed of bedding down in. This contemporary, statement-making Design Hotel brings its convenient location – just 15 minutes from the historic centre – together with a smart and bright aesthetic that will have minimalist-lovers feeling right at home (and certainly not aching for more).

How to Get There
I enjoyed staying here. The staff were helpful, the rooms small but comfortable, and the location was great for Oktoberfest - about a 20 minute walk to the event ground. But the hotel substitutes comfort for cool sometimes. For example, I'd prefer to have a mini fridge in the room than a Marshall amp, and the rooms certainly aren't sound proof. But I would recommend staying here, especially as it's very affordable.
Great find. Stylish and great value. The hotel is easy to reach via the underground and in a good central location. Nice bar and work area. The rooms have Marshall amps for your iTunes, so bring a lightning jack if you have an iPhone
Hotel is great value for money in a great location.
All the staff were very nice and helpful, it's a fast self checkin.
The rooms come with everything you would expect... plus a very nice Marshal speaker.
The hotel has a modern boutique feel about it.
We were only there for one nigh on this occasion, but will be back the next time we visit Munich
