How to Get There
I loved the overall design vibe and the friendly staff, especially the evening shift. The lobby was a space to sit with a cappuccino and the window seat in our room offered a delightful street view of a turret and trams. The place is quirky and endearing.
Admittedly, our first room was a disaster. The lowest cost accommodation, known as a "nest," looked cool, but required crawling in and out of the bed space--I'm agile, but at 71, it hurt my knees! And the room was very small, hard to stash anything larger than a backpack. Elders might do well to consider that in booking. Fortunately, we were able to upgrade for a reasonable sum to a room with a real bed. And then we were very happy. I would also have appreciated access to free morning coffee.
Still, I have a soft spot for this hotel, I'd be glad to stay there again. And the location can't be beat!
Room was amazing. Unique and sparkling clean. Great value for money. Downstairs bar is open 24/7 and has great selection of drinks and awesome atmosphere. Pierre the bartender is amazing! Very friendly and great service. Would definitely stay here again.
Personnel very kind and willing to help. Snacks and drinks available till late. I would suggest more Vegan and Gluten Free options though also for breakfast. Great location! Rooms are clean and very comfortable.
