How to Get There
We stayed for 3 nights in this excellent hotel over a long weekend. This is a 5* hotel and feels like it from the moment you enter. There is a cosy "Living room" area that includes reception that sums up the place well. Great helpful service, Intimate feel and great attention to detail. It is not a cheap hotel but we weren't expecting one!. The room (A suite) was comfortable and vey well equipped. Some guests might find the ceilings in bedrooms and some corridors a bit low but it was not an issue for us. Breakfast was great with lots of choice from a buffet that felt more like a homely kitchen than a very expansive hotplate will hopefully return
No words needed - awesome drinks by Magnus Bischoff! Great atmosphere and perfect service. First time in Munich and can’t wait to come back - Munich is full of amazing sights and our trip was rounded off by an amazing evening in the Schwarzreiter bar!
Spent 2 nights during a European delivery of Porsche. Offered secure on-site parking and was walking distance to pedestrian zone. Room was very comfortable and spacious and bathroom was very modern. Excellent breakfast offered at hotel (dress code was no t-shirts or track pants). Hotel is located on street with high end shops with restaurants and other shopping within a block. Would highly recommend.
For the second time I stayed at Kempinski Hotel in Munich.
The staff is perfect and they solve all your problems.
The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable.
The day I arrived a lady customer who was checking out, complained about the charge of a consumption she didn't make. They had to call a senior staff member.
I wouldn't dream that would happen to me later.
I checked out the 8th September, paid with my credit card what I owed, and returned to Portugal
Somedays later, my credit card account showed another debit of 14€.
What was it? They answered "a bottle of wine of the mini bar" and I don't drink wine(!)
Only then, they sent me the invoice!
I complained, demanded they fix it...and nothing.
I just complained to Visa
So, beware, if you go to this hotel, ask for a mini bar checking, before you check out. Their imagination is big.
The stay at the hotel is quite comfortable. Located in the midst of high brand shopping street, where u can find the best brands. The hotel has good rooms with a decent BF spread. They could increase a few options tho in Arabic or Indian menu on it.
