How to Get There
My husband & I booked this hotel with high hopes, I mean it is a Four Seasons hotel. Pros, are that it was in walking distance to the Christmas markets & downtown Munchen. It has an amazing indoor pool. I t does have a small workout room which we utilized. I also noticed the spa, but didn't have time to check it out. The breakfast buffet was lovely with a wonderful variety of choices. The service at the hotel was amazing, including the valet parking, luggage transfer as well as tips for restaurants and other local activities. The lobby of the hotel is stunning, however the rest of the hotel is due for a bit of a remodel. The hotel is obviously very worn and one can definitely notice that it receives a high amount of international visitors, which has taken a toll on the interior condition. I would say for the price paid for this hotel you could most likely find another hotel in better condition.
After a view years I decided to stay at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten again, they offer fully renovated rooms by now, however, everything else needs improvement to level with international 5* standard.
Very nice rooms, hight tech lights and air condition, heavy duvets, pillows and carpets. room colors are shooting and made with lots of attention to details. I stayed at a single room.
My late night check was a bad experience. Unfriendly and arrogant stuff. Don`t expect a warm welcome or a smile.
After checking into my room, I had to look for it since the floor 3/4 a divided between stairs, I asked for a room with a bigger bed, as queen size is normal by now in most of the hotels, my bed was smaller.
I was told I had booked the "lowest" category and the beds are like this.
Hello! Yes, thank you for downsizing me as a customer.
Stuff in the hotel does not notice you while you meet them at the floors.
Vegan and Veggie Dining:
Vegetarian and Vegan Meals are not marked in the In-Room Dining menu. You have to search for yourself what you can eat. They do not offer a specific menu section. However, the called one of there Pizzas after the now famous Hugo´s Pizza bakery, which can help if you are veggie. However, they mention on the card they can prepare anything you might like.
You see some dogs in the lobby big plus!
Crowded lobby, you have a hard time passing trough all the chairs, dark but not elegant, cheap chairs and there is not chic feeling to it.
I can not recommend this hotel, rooms are nice, but you miss the world class feeling ans service. Vegetarian and Vegans are not respected on their In -Room Dining.
My wife and I stayed at Junior suite. We were able to get early check-in. Front office staff at the check in is very helpful. Room is clean, nice, bright, and comforable. Gym, swimming pool, and spa are the plus for this property. Cigar room has excellent choices of cigars. Location is unbeatable. Will definitely come back here again.
Fantactic toalet, bed, linens.
Gem is entertaiment in the lobby, Munchen is very borring and expencive city, and i think this is by me the best entertaiment you can get there. Italyan music singer and atmosfere very good.
Whats not good:
Spa is very small.
Breakfast not bed, but not good at all. Lets say in 3 star hotel 40 eur per night, you can get better.
I realy like the bathroom, very modern.
I like the class of the hotel.
I like most of the personel, there are very good trained.
One word: good.
Loved it! Everything was perfect! Only stayed for 1 night but everything from check in to check out was great! Fell in love with their Salvadore Ferragamo bathroom amenities! Great location, just 7 mins walk to Marienplatz
