Standing proud within an easy walk of Munich Central Station, TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence-winning Hotel Eden Wolff occupies a stylish section of prime city territory. You can wander into the Old Town in 15 minutes, and Marienplatz is just three minutes away on the S-Bahn. Inside the grand building that dates back to 1890, the Old World charm remains, and all of the modern comforts you’d expect in a four-star hotel are present.
Public areas are warm and rich, decked out in grand furnishings, wood paneling and period fixtures. Step inside your room to discover a thoroughly modern yet uber-cozy take on city-center sleeping. Dig into global cuisine with a Bavarian twist in the traditional restaurant, and settle down in front of the flaming fire with a classical Munich blonde lager in the bar to read up on what to see and do next in Germany’s third largest city.
The concierge can help you arrange whatever you fancy, whether that’s visiting one of the region’s countless castles, ascending your choice of several towers, or channeling your inner culture vulture at Haus der Kunst or Museum Brandhorst. Alternatively, stay put and make the most of the sauna, steam room, gym and exquisite views from the rooftop terrace.

Chef Christian Sippel prepares daily Bavarian feasts against an equally Bavarian backdrop at the hotel’s Zirbelstube restaurant. Menus here are environmentally and socially aware, with seasonal produce prepared with great care and culinary passion.

How to Get There
I stayed at nearly a dozen hotels around the 4 star category as I was flitting about Europe, and I would have to say that the Eden Wolff was one of the best.
Not so much for the quality of the accommodation, although this was of quite a good standard.
The decor of my room had a slab timber kind of motif, which was not really my cup of tea, however the room was quite spacious, the bed was very comfortable and all the usual accouterments were present, so no complaints on that score.
What made the hotel stand out for me were other factors.
To begin with, an extensive and delicious buffet breakfast which was included in my tariff.
I have enjoyed any number of buffet breakfasts during my travels, but this one really excelled.
So absolutely top marks there.
(BTW. I also recommend the restaurant if you fancy eating at the hotel. It is excellent.)
The location of the hotel, directly across from the mainline station is fantastic if you are travelling about by train. So convenient! Also, the station has any number of food stalls, coffee shops etc, and downstairs a handy mall with supermarkets and all sorts of retail outlets.
It is a very easy stroll up to the Marienplatz and the joys of the old town and beer halls (it takes around 15 minutes),however if you don't want to walk, transport is available right outside the door.
Also a high point was the staff, who I thought were outstanding.
From the moment I checked in, I was treated by everybody working there with a natural civility, something that can be counterfeited, but you can always recognize the genuine article.
The corridors and the public areas seemed to me to have a graciousness about them that wasn't forced, but a part of the character of the place.
Like the smell of real flowers in the vases as you walk downstairs.
I certainly would not consider staying anywhere else next time I am in Munich!
The rooms definitely need updating, but hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Location is also convenient and central to most attractions as well as the central train station for airport commuters. Overall average hotel.
My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience at Eden Hotel! We were in Munich for 2 days and the staff could not have been more accommodating and kind. Our room was extremely clean and came with anything we might need (shampoo, clothing iron, mini bar, etc). The location of this hotel puts you within walking distance of all Munich has to offer. We enjoy using the scooters in Munich and there was a hotspot to pick one up 100m from the hotel. They also had a valet service for 20€ a day, which was very prompt for both drop-off and picking up our car when we checked out. Overall we had a great experience and will be staying there in the future to take full advantage of all the hotel has to offer!
