We went to Dallas for my 36th birthday. I was a little concerned with some of the latest reviews, but I had a great stay. Daylan the person who checked us in, is possibly one of the nicest front desk people I have ever met. The lobby was beautiful. There was an indoor pool that opened to the outside. The hot tub was also outside. The workout room was quite nice. We stayed in a King Suite which was nice and quite spacious. The parking lot was a little weird because it was only partially fenced in. There was not a free continental breakfast but breakfast was offered for an extra $14.95. Also, I was charged $50.00 a night for incidentals. When I checked out they said I would need to allow 3-5 business days to receive the money back in my bank account. All in all, I enjoyed my stay. Oh and the mattress was okay. I have a memory foam matress at home so it's really hard for a hotel to have a better matress than mine at home. One last thing; the free shampoo, conditioner, and soap was much nicer than most hotels.

Location is awkward at best. Thank God there is at least an “In and Out” burger restaurant that you can walk to because it and CVS is all there is in the area. Hotel is good otherwise with the typical issues. The front desk staff is inadequate to be honest with the exception of one energetic young man who calls people boss I regret not paying attention to his name so I could truly recognize him for being the bright hope in an otherwise dim, unhelpful front desk staff.

FABULOUS Service for Business Meetings!

I hosted two meetings for my company yesterday in Windsor 4, and having never been to this hotel before, I was cautiously optimistic when I arrived. Not only were my expectations met, they were far exceeded! Deborah, who I booked the meetings through, was THE MOST responsive and helpful of all the hotels I contacted for RFPs. The rate was very competitive, but the deciding factor was how easy she was to work with. The day of, every single staff member that we met was friendly, helpful, courteous, and did a great job. From the front desk to the Food & Bev staff, I was SO IMPRESSED. I met with the Food & Bev Director multiple times, the first time being when he came to introduce himself and see how the service was. He was fabulous and accommodating! I feel bad that I forgot his name, but it was a very busy day of meetings. I have not forgotten how welcoming and friendly he was. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel for functions, and really appreciate how hard everyone worked to make our meetings go smoothly and make sure our needs were met. HUGE THANK YOU!!!

Surprisingly good

Hotel was very upscale, especially for a Wyndham chain member. More like a Hyatt, Marriott of Hilton. Felt like the "old days" when companies would put travelling employees up in first class digs. Luxury accommodations at a "mid-range" price. Breakfast buffet a little pricey but good; and McDonald's is a good option within walking distance. Also an In-N-Out Burger close by as well. Stay away from the nearby Rio Bravo Mexican Restaurant, unless you like being blasted with loud Mariachi music during a 6pm dinner! Only negative I can even think of about the property is the lack of microwave ovens in the rooms.

The hotel is nice not fantastic but just nice. The rooms could smell better...it wasn't an awful smell but it didn't smell "fresh". In the sitting room area the tv could have been bigger. Overall, the living space is good, comfortable bed, and roomy. The dinner was tasty and filling...no complaints. However, the Saturday morning breakfast staff was horrible! We waited for the hostess for at least 5 minutes, she was retrieving coffee for a guest. Once seated we visited the omelette station, we waited for another 5 minutes with no dialogue from the cook behind the counter. Only AFTER being coerced to speak (by asking her, "Are you still cooking omelettes?") did she acknowledge that she was indeed making omelettes. She displayed an attitude and when told that she could have at least said "may I help you?" or ""just a minute, I'll be with you shortly", she cut me off and just kept saying, "what do you want on your omelette?". There was no apology from her at all. This was very disappointing and the behavior was unwarranted.
