Very unpleasant stay at this hotel. Starting with aloof staff at check-in. Over six guests waiting to be checked in at 7pm and 1 clerk. Oddly, there was someone standing at a podium near the elevators, what their job is was unclear to me. You would think they would help get guests checked in.

Front desk couldn't find my reservation, I had to search my phone to show proof then he starts waiting on someone else. Needless to say my Platinum status wasn't acknowledged. Room was a disappointment. Old scratchy linens, dated decor.

There are plenty of other hotels in the area. Stay elsewhere!

Great staff and wonderful stay as their Guest of the Day!

We were in town for a family wedding and chose this hotel for its proximity to restaurants and shopping! When we checked in, the staff cheered and said that we were the guest of the day which normally includes an upgrade but they did not have any suites available at that time. We were told they would try to keep us informed if there was an upgrade available later. Not only did they do a great job communicating, but we were moved to a suite a few hours later. Also, their Concierge Lounge was fabulous! They served breakfast, dinner and desserts. The staff was very kind, informative and made sure we felt welcome. There were only a few people in the lounge while we were there so it almost felt like a private dining room! The pool was nice and quiet and the hotel was very accommodating as well. We will definitely be staying here again.

I always leave comments wherever I go. I travel the whole world. So leaving comments is essential to me.
Today I was met and warmly welcomed by Front desk clerk. Dressed in dark black suit. I guess his name is Hasan If i am not mistaken.

Professional look and extended hotel knowledge and about the local area. He posses great customers service skills. Great and genuine smile!

I would like also to praise the assistant at the hotel restaurant Blanca af for her outstanding and professional service that we received there myself and my friends. She is brilliant and friendly not just to me and my friends but to the rest of the guests too.

I have stayed at multiple Marriott's over the years and this one definitely stands out. Starting from walking in the lobby the staff was more than happy to help with anything we needed. The front desk was a pleasure to work with, the room service was prompt and on time and check out was a breeze. The rooms have all been renovated with flat screen TV's on the walls, no carpet, extremely comfortable beds and an amazing bathroom. I also had kids with me who thoroughly enjoyed the pool and outdoor amenities. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are ever travelling through Dallas!

I stayed at this hotel for one night with my 10-year-old. It was a really disappointing experience and definitely the worst Marriott that we've ever stayed at. To start with, the front desk couldn't find my reservation until I dug up the information on my phone. The desk agent then barely acknowledged my Marriott status (only after I asked). We had booked a package rate that included a gift card to a local shopping area, and the agent didn't even mention it. She clearly would have forgotten if I hadn't asked for it.

I asked for a quiet room at check in, but was assigned to a room that had a shrieking toddler next door who went on and on for hours while my own child was trying to sleep and I was trying to relax. I'm sure the hotel wasn't full, but when I called the front desk to ask for help with the noise, they didn't do anything about it and also didn't offer us another room. They also never followed up to see if the problem was fixed (it wasn't).

We ordered room service for dinner, and the kid's menu hamburger was literally one slider in an ocean of fries. It was comically small, even for a child. The chicken on my salad was inedibly dry, and part of our order was entirely missing.

This hotel apparently hosts lots of flight crews. Staff members constantly asked which airline I was with, despite the fact that I was obviously traveling with a child. It was a little odd.

The elevator, disconcertingly, would display "10" as the current floor at all times, even when clearly on another floor like the Lobby. I was just glad we didn't get trapped in it.

This hotel also has a shuttle to a nearby WalMart, complete with lobby announcements, which seemed very odd again.

The one positive I'll mention is that the gentleman at the omelet station in the breakfast area was very pleasant and accommodating, and was the bright point in this otherwise very sub-standard stay.

Avoid this hotel - there are plenty of other options in the area. I couldn't believe how bad the service was from start to finish, and elite status didn't matter.
