The perks of a luxury resort with with the intimate charm of an Italian villa, the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove is an oasis at the heart of one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Soaring ceilings, mosaic columns, grand fireplaces and picturesque views almost play second fiddle to the brand’s signature service. After a massage in the tranquil spa, grab a drink in the lovely Lobby Lounge before dinner at Bizcaya, an elegant trattoria serving up Italian fare with global flavor made from local, organic products.
In the Area
When you’re ready to get out and explore, you’re a 15-minute drive from the cafés and clubs of bustling Little Havana and a 20-minute drive from Miami’s Design District. Roam There offers great bespoke tours of the Design District’s street art and galleries. Afterward, check out such high-design shops as Susane R. and Niba Home, then grab an alfresco meal beneath the twinkling lights in the 150-year old oak trees at airy Mediterranean restaurant Brosia.
How to Get There
We had been debating whether or not to spend extra money for a night stay after our cruise and I'm sooo glad we did! Everything at the hotel was first class, including the staff. Our room was very well maintained and the beds were so comfortable you didn't want to get up in the morning. Would definitely stay there again and maybe try the beautiful pool.
I stayed there April 13th and 14th. As someone who stayed at many Ritz hotels over the years I give this one the worst grade . I read the glowing reviews and I am wondering if my standards need to be dropped . Yes the general condition of the hotel felt like a Ritz. Sadly Staff seemed preoccupied . Food service was not available at the Commodore Bar on Saturday. Something about a soft opening .
Observations : As a Ritz Platinum member I was not greeted by name . I never received any request for feedback .Never got my little gift at the front desk . Had to call Ritz customer service to ensure I got credit for my stay. I should have used my Ritz / Marriott points instead of dropping a grand at this hotel. So don't get fooled by the name. Maybe I was unlucky
I recently stayed for a long weekend with my elderly mother. I was so impressed with the care and level of service we were given. Everyone from the entrance to housekeeping was kind and customer service driven. Robert was awesome! The men at the front were attentive and helpful--I wish I knew their names. Food was delish and the service in the restaurant was great. Location was convenient as well. I would visit again. THANK YOU...never easy to travel with an 88 year old and they made it easy. :-)
We spent 3 nights here before a cruise. The hotel location and amenities are great.
The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Geovanny ,the guest services supervisor, genuinely wants to make sure everything lives up to the Ritz brand.
Very helpful with hotel services and anything to do with the Coconut Grove area.
The poo, area is like a little oasis ,quiet but with great beverage and food service.
Rooms are of course well maintained and have every comfort needed. Definitely a great option to unwind .
GREAT experience at the Ritz-Carlton March 30th through April 1, 2018. The service was excellent, especially the front desk!
The room was beautiful, and the bathroom was very spacious for the 4 of us. The food absolutely delicious! Our room had a lovely pool view, just wish the weather was a little warmer.
