Directly opposite the world’s tallest building and the world’s largest mall, the Taj Dubai is a luxe high-rise in the heart of downtown Dubai. The rooms and suites are done in soothing neutral tones, with hand-made furniture, hand-painted Indian artworks and floor-to-ceiling windows. For more space and comfort, book a Junior Suite; the extra features include walk-in wardrobes, a separate living room and an extra-wide kingsize bed. The marble bathrooms come with a tub and twin sinks. Take your pick of four restaurants: light snacks and cocktails at the Byzantium Lounge; authentic Peruvian cuisine at Tesoro; gastro pub–style fare at the Eloquent Elephant; and Indian specialties at Bombay Brasserie. Cool off by the outdoor pool or indulge with the signature Thaqthia amiqa treatment (an exfoliating scrub followed by relaxation massage) at the Jiva spa.
In the Area
No visit to Dubai is complete without a trip to the observation deck of the Burj Khalifa. At 2,722 feet, the building is more than twice the height of the Empire State Building. Just next door, the Dubai Mall is an enormous shopping complex with more than 1,200 stores and 120 restaurants. And don’t leave the city without first experiencing an Evening Desert Safari. Try your hand at sandboarding and camel riding; then witness a traditional belly dancing show under the glittering desert stars.
How to Get There
no hospitality like Taj hospitality! was traveling with family, it was just one night that we were there. we had the burj khalifa view room on the 33th floor and the view was awesome!! the room is spacious and the bathroom is huge! we were offered a traditional welcome with tulsi mala and tikaa during check in. they also got us fresh fruits to the room.
the breakfast was more than yummy! lovely spread. and the croissants were one of the best ones that I have tasted!! buttery and flaky.
only regret that we couldn't stay longer to enjoy all the hotel amenities. but will be back for sure.
We had an “Awesome Family Time” at your hotel and it was due to the personalized interactions the staff had with us and the little gestures that went a long mile. From the doorman, concierge, reception, housekeeping and finally Restaurant and bars all staff made it special for us. Special thanks to Hemant for a true Taj experience and a recognized second visit. Viraj, perfect dinner dishes at Bombay Brassiere. ( well done to the Chefs ).Siddeeq for the personal touch to my son’s birthday cake. Mariz at In room dining, with always a true caring attitude. Breakfast had a great spread, loved the croissant service and the Arabic trolley. The staff made a great mix of masala tea each morning. Some good touches. Vinay Govande being of great assistance during the entire stay... and ofcourse Harpal at the entrance...all attribute to the true Taj ness.
Wonderful property. The location was fabulous, the hotel staff were so helpful. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out we felt like we were the most important guest at the property. The restaurants were fabulous and the breakfast was delicious. The concierge was so helpful with planning our day as well as offering maps and calling for cars as well as confirming tours we had planned. The hotel offered hourly shuttles to the Dubai Mall which was so nice and allowed us to use the metro easily. I would highly recommend this property and the bonus is booking a room with the Burj Khalifa view! We were able to see the water show each night from our room.
