Nassima Royal Hotel
What We Love
- A convenient location in Dubai’s financial hub
- Four restaurants and three lounges and bars, including one of the city’s coolest, Mo*Vida
- In some rooms, stand-alone tubs have views of the tallest building in the world
- A small spa with well-priced treatments (a rarity in over-the-top Dubai)
- Food fans will appreciate the fact that some of the UAE’s finest restaurants are within a five-minute cab ride
What To Know
- A 10 percent service charge per night will be collected at the Jetsetter checkout. A $5.45 Tourism Dirham per room, per night will be collected by the hotel at checkout
- Higher room categories come with access to the Royal Club lounge, which serves breakfast
- Not a beach property — better for those wanting to explore Dubai’s World Trade convention center and the financial hub
- Even with the hotel’s busy location, on Sheikh Zayed Road, rooms are quiet
- Free WiFi
- Handicap Accessible
- Kids Club
- Parking On Site

How to Get There
I have been staying at Voco hotel in Dubai for almost two months now, and think it’s a great hotel, the best thing being the friendly staff throughout the hotel and the service. I have definitely noticed the improvement since it changed hands from Nassima to Voco a few weeks ago. Ganesh from Nepal who works in the hotel pool bar is particularly brilliant, always friendly and ready to assist with anything you might need and greeting you with a warm welcome. I highly recommend staying here.
I stayed here for 6 nights recently for a holiday. We arrived just as he hotel was rebranding so I appreciate this was probably a busy period for the hotel and staff.
Hotel is lovely looking and all staff very polite and attentive but at times they were very slow to respond to our requests or to fix things as they went wrong.
We moved rooms on our first night as our shower flooded water onto the bedroom carpet.
The new room smelled but as we had already moved once we tolerated it, the tv didn’t work and we had problems with the buttons that tell housekeeping you want the room tended to. We were offered free breakfast as an apology but this took numerous phone calls to follow up. Everything seemed such an effort to get resolved and although it eventually was this took up our precious holiday time.
I had left some items in our first room and although some were returned to me I was still missing my cap (something I lost the will to chase up eventually, I will buy a new one).
Good hotel locations and nice spa area and rooftop pool. Overall I wouldn’t rush back but I feel some of the problems were down to us staying at a time the hotel changed from one hotel brand to another and hence was abit chaotic
Stayed in Voco Dubai which was previously Royal Nassima when I booked, (could have informed me!!) However, the hotel was amazing. Newly acquired by IHG it was a beautiful calm oasis of understated luxury. Smells divine when you walk into the lobby!!
Situated right on the Sheikh Zayed Road which runs through Dubai - it was convenient for everything. Restaurants and shops very close by including McD's if you are an addict. The views of the city from the 43rd Floor were amazing, and the proximity of the hotel to the Dubai Mall and other areas is quite central and short taxi rides take you to most things, or the Metro was on the other side of the road for the intrepid amongst you.
We stayed in the Royal rooms, which gives you access to the Royal Lounge, what a gem!!
Staff couldn't do enough for us, and the quality of food was of very high standard even in the main buffet dining hall.
All facilities were of excellent quality, Aveda toilietries in the Royal rooms were an unexpected bonus, as I always take my own everywhere I go, even when provided, but no need with Aveda on hand. Will remember that next time I go.
The staff at the hotel were superb unfailingly polite and attentive. The views of the city from the 43rd Floor were amazing, and the proximity of the hotel to the Dubai Mall and other areas is quite central and short taxi rides to most things, or the Metro was on the other side of the road for the intrepid amongst you.
My only criticism - the Swimming pool and available sunbeds were a little limited for the amount of occupants, but the lifeguard and other staff were extremely helpful in trying to give everyone a chance to get some time on the sunbeds, so when people walked off to lunch leaving their stuff to hold their bed they asked them politely to relinquish it for others. Very proactive. Not sure how you could improve on the pool facitlites and space given that the pool is on the 7th floor with very limited opportunity for expansion. Unless gym relocated and pool was extended - just a thought.
Spa Zen was fab, if a little pricey, but my massage with Madi was fantastic, very skilled. Looking forward to a return visit.
