How to Get There
I have stayed in this hotel on 3 business trips now. My last visit for 11 days.
There are a few things that Mark this hotel out for special attention. Firstly the staff are so friendly and so helpful. Whether it was the concierge, the front desk or the waitress in the restaurant remembering every morning the way I took my coffee. That brings me onto the food, which is excellent. There is so much choice and everything is so good. Probably the best breakfast I have seen at any hotel. The rooms are nice and cleaned relentlessly. The shower is great, the bed comfy, everything I want. It has a great gym, nice pool and under the hotel is a lively bar: UBK
Next time I am back in Dubai I'd be very happy to stay here.
Royal treatment, great ambience, good food, excellent staff and what a location. I love movnpick. one can go for walk, have good food in the nearby locality too. It was feeling like travelling through Europe.
Lack of interest in the customer, we know that we have completed the age of housing in them when you live in many hotels you have priority and credibility unlike this hotel Unfortunately there is no interest by the Hotel Mövenpick Jlt
On arrival, I was warmly welcomed - literally, with a fast efficient frontline staff. The whole atmosphere was welcoming and I looked forward to my stay. Every part of the experience was superb, from the dinning staff to the attached UBK restaurant which was phenomenal. (Especially the assistant manager Geoffrey).
I then had to extend my stay for another 2 weeks and then a slight bump... which really saddened me a lot. I insisted that my company needs to book the rest of my stay at the hotel for the extended duration of the stay - however, here is where the hiccup came, the rates shot up by AED200 after the second week of my now 3 week stay and due to times it was decided I was to move to another hotel as this hotel couldn't hold the rate so that they could keep a client. So I am moving to another hotel and thats that.
Surely, keeping a client is better then letting them move on as now potentially the new hotel may be better and I will stay there from now on.
However, I must say the hotel is really amazing.
Tip Room 708 is beautiful
Spent 4 nights in Movenpick JLT recently.
Very nice hotel with big rooms and comfy beds. Breakfast is incredible, plenty of choices for everyone. The view from the balcony is also amazing, staff lovely. Really pleasant stay.
